I did those bags filled up the back of my car and some of the seat. Now it is all over the whole sofa, I hope I can get a picture of it soon.

Last years was better, more variety, this year just Christmas stuff but I got at least 10 boxes of Christmas cards. two pillows artificial poinsettia plant several boxes of ornaments, Cotton batting with sparkles, tags, picks to decorate lots of velvet bows, several rolls of wide ribbon Christmas paper, alot, and decorative flower picks.two green wreaths to decorate and a little green tree on a stand. 2 styrofoam deer and a tree. and some little decorative hoop hangings and three garlands. and a hard felt tree hang up and an ornament one. and one wire sled to fill with flowers.

That is pretty much it. I think. I was talking to a teacher where I work and she used to work there and said when they have stuff that they can sell they stick it in a bag and sell each bag for cheap. It was lots of fun and took me two trips into the store. Well I guess I bent your ear enough. have a good night.

Darlene, that sounds so fun, I love grab bag type things! We're expecting 12 to 18 inches of snow starting tomorrow night, a real big Nor'easter. I know that probably doesn't phase the mid-West girls, but it will pretty much paralyze us around here. My daughter's birthday is Saturday, but I don't think she'll be able to go out to celebrate!

Happy Day!

They are calling for wind gusts up to 77mph on Saturday. I am not a fan of the wind at all. We will be getting bales of hay tomorrow to surround the bottom of the chicken house with. Want to keep the girls as warm as we can. I'd bring them in if I thought I could get away with it.

Wind is not fun, We have had a lot of hard winds lately, We have signs on the doors at school to make sure everyone holds on to the door to keep from slamming into the walls. It makes the surf higher too. We have had surf tides up to 28 feet lately, causes flooding in the bottoms and people really have no since when it is like that. They go out and stand on the jetty and watch it come in and a few have washed off no matter what the warnings are.

Be careful out there and keep those babies warm.

Oh Darlene, some people just have to show they can prove something and they and up getting hurt or worse.
I went up and got some yarn and extra knitting needles. I am going to work on those knitting badges. We are extending this December thread well into January. LOL!

Darlene, you can't fix stupid. Some people never learn.
Those of you in the path of the bad storms, take it seriously. Blizzards can be deadly.

The blizzard that hit the Texas panhandlers in late December killed at least 70,000 dairy animals, cows, grocers, babies, etc. I haven't heard how many sticker cattle died, but I know they really had a mess trying to sort them out, and return them to the rightful owners. So sad.
