After seeing an interest, I wanted to go ahead and post for our Henhouse Christmas Ornament Swap for January. Our theme for January is snowmen. You will be assigned one partner (unless you request more). The ornament can be made from whatever medium you desire - felt, paper, wood, cloth, etc. Please limit any tucks, if desired, to an additional ornament within the theme.

Sorry Abi for not explaining... a tuck is something additional added in. Often times on the main forum's swaps, people will "tuck in" many additional items than just that which is being swapped. For example, I am part of the Christmas tag swap and one of the senders also sent a potholder. There are times when you get more tucks than swap items! I really want to keep this swap designated to Christmas ornaments, so IF someone wants to add something additional, I would prefer an additional Christmas ornament added. Does that make sense? With that said, NO tucks (aka additional items) are required, nor should they be expected!!!

Hi Shannon,
I am back and I want in. :0)

Question? Does the ornament have to be "made"?

Kerry - glad to have you joining us!

Yes, for this swap, the ornament needs to be homemade.

Shannon, thanks for saying no tucks. I think we all got a bit carried away last year. This is refreshing.

That seems to be common in a lot of swaps... And I a must as guilty! But then I cannot keep up with doing them due to financial reasons or just burnout!

Marilyn - sending you an email!
