Thanks for sending prayers to them. It is so hard when your little kids are sick. Dio, their son, will be 1 in a few months, so being in the hospital room with his mom and sister is, I would think, limiting for playing and such. Usually, he has the attention of his dad during the day while mom is at work and the whole house to play in, then his mom and sister in the evenings while dad is at work.

Could use prayer for healing. Friday morning before the funeral I slipped in the shower and did something to my ribs. I was okay all that day and even my leg from the sciatica stopped hurting. But now the ribs are pretty sore and of course riding makes the back and leg to bother again.

Denise sorry to hear you fell!
I don’t like hearing that you all take care of yourselves out there.
Did you bruise them I hope nothing more, that hurts, maybe ice on them will help some!
Well I sure will put you in my prayers Denise!
Please take care!
Love you all!

Thank you. Will get them wrapped I'm sure when we get back. It isn't bad when I am sitting or still just when I am getting up or trying to lift up from the bed. We will see though.

I hate bruises, especially in the ribs. Every time you move something hurts, and bruises take the longest to heal.

Ouch!! Denise sorry you had a fall and hurt yourself. Yes, I would go to your regular doctor and then if it looks like an x-ray is needed, one can be ordered. I hope you will be getting better real soon as I know from other accounts that cracked ribs or even badly bruised rib cage areas can be very painful for a few weeks. Prayers!

So I seem to have bruised them. Did wrap them. No lifting. Will see how it is in a couple of weeks. Appreciate the prayers.

Hugs and prayers, Denise. Our ribs are used all the time, more than we know until we bruise them. Take care and rest. Take advantage of no lifting and use help.

JT has been lifting and carrying and anything that requires bending. Though I am trying to remember to squat not bend. I am taking it easy but walking because that doesn't seem to bother and I need the exercise.

It is Linda! Walking has always been my preferred type of exercise. Though I do stretching as often as I can. Just not now of course.

Update on Brenda:

Posted by her mother today:
Day 10 at the Children's Hospital. Wish I could say we where leaving today. Unfortunately Brenda has developed a few blood clots in her arm ( her picc line is the cause) Unfortunately it does happen. On top of everything she has been through she now will have to be on blood thinners for the next 6 weeks. I now get to learn how to give her the injections twice a day. As you can see she hasn't let any of this slow her down!!!#129392;

Her mom posted a couple pictures.

To update on Brenda - she has been back in school, and this is the last week for this school year. As far as I know she is staying well.

Please join me with prayers for the families in Uvalde, TX, about 80 miles west of San Antonio. 18 children and 1 teacher were killed by a gunman at their school today. Another senseless act of violence. The gunman also shot and killed his grandmother before he entered the school; and law enforcement killed him. He was an 18-year-old high school student in the same town. It is so sad that these school shootings keep happening.

Glad to hear Brenda is well.

So very sad that our schools are not safe. Sad for those lost and heartbreaking for those families. Praying for all.
