Happy Birthday to our Dear Sweet Rain on July 10th and to
America on July 4th.
Even though Rain is unable to be a part of our HenHouse right now due to personal family illnesses please let her know we are thinking about her and make her feel special during ber birthday month. Also how much we miss her and look forward to having her back in the HenHouse with us again. Y'all know what to do.
Also I hope all your celebrations on the 4th of July are as special as America is. We will go to our annual neighbors 4th of July party across the road, it is always so much fun visiting with our neighbors and eating good food!
Whatever you do please have a safe and fun 4th of July Holiday.

Such a cutie Debbie! I used to baby sit for a little girl that looked just like her! She is now almost 50 years old...where has the time gone?????????? Guess one day at a time. right???? I can't believe it is July 1st already, seems like yesterday was Christmas!

Another sweet Chickie from the HenHouse surprised me with yet another birthday package on Saturday. Tammy and I visited with Ruth last August near Atlanta and she remembered that I said I love White Castle Hamburgers and that hubby and I were raised on them, so she got me a Book Called:
By The Sackful, A Scrapbook with Recipes from 85 years of White Castle Craving, hubby immediately grabbed it but I assured him that I was ready it first it is after all my birthday. Can not wait to read it. White Castles are a Midwest Hamburger Joint, and they will not leave the Midwest and come lets say to Colorado. Steak n Shake did though, raised on them as well, Tom and I use to sit on the "line" when we were dating. Fun Memories.
Also 4 Vintage cross stitched napkins in blues and reds that will of course be used for doilies, they are too pretty to use as napkins.
And two vintage post cards which she knows I love.
A Beautiful Birthday Card as well.
Thank you so much Ruth for thinking of me and sending the perfect gifts too. Y'all know me well:-)

Did anyone ever hear of the Rocky built hamberger place in Denver? I had them when I was a child there. They were the best. I have only seen the White Castle ones in the freezer area, I haven't tried them though.
