I just wanted to share with all of you what my hubby Tom got me for my birthday, early.
Not sure if you remember but last year on our 39th anniversary my Canary Golen died, I had he for 11 years, it was a birthday gift from a girlfriend.
Well, I really missed him and his singing as he could really sing and I wanted another one soooooooooooooooooooooooo,
Please meet Doc, we named him Doc after our Dachunds, he is a beautiful yellow, pink, peach white and wears a black mask. I have had him only a week but he is starting to sing for me.
  
Sure wish I could get better pictures it is so hard to see him clearly and his beautiful colors through the cage.

Oh Debbie he is a beauty, and I bet his song will be lovely to hear.
I know you are going to really enjoy him it was so special for Tom to give it to you early.

Thanks everyone, he is turning out to be quite vocal, he sings louder and prettier when I have ligh classical music playing, he is quite entertaining. I hope he will be with us as long as our last canary, they are such lovely birds.

He is a cutie. My grandmother has two parakeets and I love to hear them whistle and tweet all day!

| Debbie - wow what a honey, we used to have birds too when the kids were very young, no canaries though, a childhood friend had some and I remembered their sweet singing! A very nice present indeed! |
