I freeze dried fruit all the time Denise. You probably wouldn't have to,but for fruits especially I have found they taste fresher when I do.

Julie,
Do you just dehydrate them and then how do you store them in the freezer?

Did you know that on 9/25 there was a 6.2 earthquake in or around Ankorage Alaska up by where Debbie Main lives, prayers for her and for Washington State where Mount St. Helens is starting to smoke again. That is up by Peggy and my daughter Angelina.

Just thought I would let you know.

Gosh Darlene, I did not hear about the quake. I sure hope Mt. Saint Helen's doesn't get active again! WE forget how active the earth is beneath our feet until these quakes and volcanic activity starts acting up. When we visited Yellowstone Park, the tour guide information was incredible to listen to. The geological history of the whole western part of the US is full of amazing changes happening every day beneath the surface. It put an entire new perspective on the geyser, Old Faithful. I will keep all of them in my prayers that nothing happens from this recent quake. The whole possibility is very scary!

Good Morning Gals, It's International Coffee Day. Enjoy your coffee this morning, wish we could be having coffee together. I mailed out all the information packets on Friday and everyone should be getting theirs starting today. Hope everyone has a great day and stay safe where ever you live. There just seems to be a lot of weather related things going on all across the US.

Farmgirl Hugs & May all your Wishes come true.

Good Morning Sherry. I wish we were having coffee together too! It is really foggy here this morning, I have to take mom for drs. Appts. In the city so will be leaving in a few minutes so I make it in time. I hate driving through fog. Have a great day all.

Hugs
Julie

Very cool here for us this morning. But it feels good. I had actually thought about starting a fire in the stove to take the chill off but I know by this afternoon it will have warmed up too much for that.

Just wondering how everyone is doing tonight?
It's sunny and warm here, but leaves are slowing falling and changing color.

Hope everyone is doing well

Was quite cool and breezy here today. Dad is not feeling well (sinus headache and his back is bothering him)so I have been keeping an eye on him and making sure his dogs get taken care of.
Hope you are enjoying your evening.

Take of your self as well Denise.

It was a lot cooler here today than yesterday, but cleared up for an hour or two this afternoon but it is getting foggy again now.

Have a good evening all.

Well Sherry I don't like to see the cold coming but I don't miss the 90 degree weather. Must be hard to think of Fall when it is that hot.
