Dear All -
I was supposed to have foot surgery this friday the 10th. I had to cancel it due to the fact that we have had a super major snowstorm here in Buffalo, crippling in fact, so I could not get my preops done and medical clearance as everything was closed down! Maybe it was a sign but now I probably cannot have the surgery until the beginning of March, but I have to wait for the doc to call back tomorrow to set it up again! Ugh these winters! But I thank you all for your good wishes and prayers, they really do mean a lot to me! |

I am so sorry you have to delay your surgery Sue, please keep us updated on it and we will continue to keep you in our prayers. Hasn't this winter been horrible. So many battling lower than normal temps and deep snowfall. We are starting to come out of our deep freeze. Only -18 this morning, but has warmed up to 0 now. Supposed to be in the 30's by the weekend, can't wait. Stay warm everyone.

Well, I guess the good news is that you weren't in the middle of the surgery when the storm hit! It is so frustrating to be all ready and get delayed over and over for a medical procedure...hang in there, Sue, and yes, prayers and light winging to you.

Sue, I'm so sorry, but have the think it was for a reason! Getting mentally ready for surgery is a biggie for me, and once my mind is there, lets get this done :)! This weather has been a tough one on so many people all over the country. I know Spring will be a very welcomed sight for all of us!
Please keep us posted on your surgery date, and you will continue to be in my prayers.

OK...Now I know what your upcoming surgery is all about Sue.

| Thanks for all the wishes and prayers! I need them more than ever now; upon medical clearance they found something on the ekg, dx ordered a stress test but was denied by the insurance company (Grrr) but have to see my heart specialist this afternoon, Im sure he will check things out further! |

Hi Sue, I just saw your post :(! Hope that you will get checked out good, and that all will be well. Have you had other EKGs that were abnormal?? Or is this something new? Insurance companies!!!!!

Insurance companies are really a pain and more now I think,
I will put you in my prayers for the ekg and having the doctors to be able to get it through the insurance.

| Saw the Cardio guy yesterday, checked me out but need to have a stress test later this morn called a walking stress test where you are not hooked up to electrodes and no dye shot into veins, that will be the deciding factor I guess, so we will see! |
