Good Morning Gals,
Wanted to say hello and tell you hubby, doggies and I are on a Mini Vacation, 25 minutes from home but still a vacation for us. We are house sitting for friends of ours off and on for 3 weeks, they live in a 3 story log home on 5 acres with beautiful, peaceful gardens and even a hot tub room! We have known these friends for 33 years as our husbands were stationed in Germany together when they were in the military. It is wonderful we settled in the same area, my girlfriend Renate is German so we continue our friendship and hubby and I still get to enjoy German cooking.
It was bitterly cold here this morning 29 degrees and we had snow flurries late yesterday. But, we were nice and toasty, had a nice fire going in the fireplace just relaxing and enjoying life for awhile:-)
But the sun is out today and it is beautiful! Gotta love Colorado as we get 360 days of sun a year so we have no complaints about the weather.
Tom's 3 brothers will be here on Thursday to help us get up our wood for winter at home as Tom can not due it yet. It will be a nice little family reunion, they will be here only 4 days but that is long enough:-)

Sounds like a sweet little vacation. Sometimes we all need just a short little break to rejuvenate us.
