Checking with all to make sure everyone is alright. Sherry checked in with me as our Pass was closed and a surrounding town due to floods, but we are fine. Thunderstorms over head more rain on the way and flash flooding. Kent is on his way home back to Denver so we are hoping he gets down the pass before the heavy rains start again. Last night there was a mud slide on the pass (Ute Pass) and 14 vehicles were trapped. We are fine here.
Kansas, Missouri and other Midwest States in trouble as well due to flash floods. Please check in girls when you can.
Hugs,
Debbie

Sorry I did not get back with you, Kent made it home safe and sound last night, took him about an hour longer, grrr! Ute Pass has really been a problem with mud slides, flooding and of course closures since the Waldo Canyon Fire last year. That pass is our main way off the mountain to the Big City, there are other ways we could go but they are mostly dirt roads.
We have had so much thunder, lighting and rain every afternoon that we keep our TV and Computer off.
Take care everyone and have a Beautiful Sunday.
Hugs,
Debbie

Well we are good here in Wichita just a little soggy is all. My backyard is a pond and I'm thankful that a good portion of my garden is on the high part of the yard. Even the ducks are thinking enough is enough. I'm thankful our city has the big ditch. Otherwise I would be boating to my best friends house for movie night.

Oh I am so glad everyone is ok and safe. I saw the flash flood in Manitou Springs on TV when I was up in Vancouver, that was so scarey watching those cars floating down in that water and the guy that jumped from his car. Awful!
You take care out there please, I am praying for all of you.

Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.
Tell God what you need, and thank him for what he has done.
Philippians 4:6

Just follow God unquestioningly.
Because you love Him so, for if you trust His judgment there is nothing you need to know.
