HI Chicks,
I wanted to let you know that August we will be doing a Book Swap and in a few days I will announce the details and how it will work.
Then we will do a fall swap in September and we will do a small Secret Sister Swap in the Henhouse for October through January so watch for details.
Any, suggestions or ideas for any of the above please let me know through an email.
We will have fun the next few months.

Debbie,
LOVE the idea of having a fall swap ... How about doing a "what fall means to me" sort of thing ... Not everyone thinks of fall in the same way, some of us think pumpkins, Indian corn, scarecrows, and then there is JOL's (jack-o-lanterns), turkeys, leaves and so on ... this will also allow different mediums .. kinda like a mixed media ...
Just a thought :)

I know, it is may fave time of the year ... even more than Christmas, I think because I just love all the colors that fall represents.
I have so many decor ideas in my head that I have to get out ... LOL!

I love it! Count me in!!Dreaming about about Fall is what gets me thru these HUMID TN. SUMMERS!! and I just got my Pristine Wool Pumpkins in the mail from Teri! They will be my focal point this year! Thank you Teri!!

You're so welcome, and right there with you on the humid weather, next week tho suppose to be more fall type weather they say! I can't say YAAAAY loud enough!
And Tammy, yours will be mailed on Tuesday! That is what I have been doing most of this weekend, packing up orders! Thanksa all!

Big HUG to you Marlee, and everyone! We all get busy here and there, but same with me, Mama Hen and all you Chicks are always in my heart and on my mind! I talk about ya'll so much at work to the stylist and clients, they ask what project are we doing! LoL! I wear my MJF necklace to work quite often and people are always asking what the number means, and they love that cowgirl pic on one side. I think of you all as my Blood Sisters, cause I don't have one, Just a brother who is still a spoiled Brat at 55! LOL!!

Teri, It has been cloudy and misting rain here for 3 days, and I did see a lone Yellow Elm leave float to the ground, and my heart gave a leap! My hubby said," he never paid any attention to the leaves changing till he married me," and saw how I got so excited, every year when Fall began". He said, "most people react that way to December!" When I was a child we walked to school all year round and played outdoors so I always noticed the trees and the sky. We use to lay on the ground and make pictures out of the clouds. My granny always had to threaten to whip me if I did not get inside and do my homework and my chores! Except for Hot Summer, I am still like that.

Hey everyone hi from Texas, it is just Hot here. Been busy with hubby off work for some medical stuff, then family reunion, then kids and mother-in-law stuff, then my grandfather. I just feel like I'm going in ten different direction. But am always reading the forum and keeping up with everyone. Can't wait till fall. I can't get her quick enough for me. Been making some peach jam too. Fresh peaches from a local farm, they are wonderful. Love the idea for the all the swaps. I'm in and everyone else can just wait. HaHa

OMGosh Tammy,
I thought i was the only person who does not like summer ... I have a farmers tan, because I HAVE to be out in it ... hubby makes fun of me, cause my middle is white and my arms and legs are very dark ... I look like and oreo cookie ... make that a double stuff oreo ... LOL!!!
