Happy Father's day? You bet it is! This is the first time I have spent father's day with my dad since I got married and left home. Unfortunately, the first day my dad was here he took a tumble and cut his forehead. He was trying to bring his guitar in from the trailer we packed his things in. The cut is okay. Swelling went down and not as bad as we originally thought, but now his back is bothering him and he has a rib out of whack. The chiropractor was on our list of things to do anyway but now we are going to do it first thing if we can because it being that way has caused him to be sick to his stomach. I have similar trouble and have frequented the chiropractor myself over the last 20 years. I just feel bad that this happened right off the bat. He gets mad at himself too but he is 87 soon to be 88 and thinks he can do what he always has or at least in his mind he wants to do those things. But don't we all let our minds tell us we are younger than we are?
Anyway, I hope all of your husbands and dads have had a great day!!
