Just wondered if any of you chicks have read the magazine "Apronology". It is published by Stampington & Co. (same as Where Women Create, Somerset Life, etc.) and it is a really fun magazine for apron lovers. I think it comes out only 2-4 times a year.

I have a copy of one of the issues that my daughter gave me. I enjoyed reading it but have not subscribed to it or read any others. I love aprons. I have so many that belonged to my mom and grandma. Whenever I put one on I always think about the kinds of chores and things they did while wearing that same apron. Makes me feel connected to them.

hugs,

nope, not heard of that one.
I also have so many fond memories of my Italian Grandmother and her aprons.
I swear she had everything in there ... including the kitchen sink.

Evidently it only comes out once a year...hmmm. You can google Apronology Magazine and the website comes right up. If I find a copy at our Barnes and Noble I will buy it and pass it around to anyone in the henhouse who would like to read it :)

Sadly, our Border's closed down and nothing else has opened up. There are no book stores within a 50 miles radius around here. Sigh...!

I have issue 2 "Aprons with Attitude" I would love for it to be passed around our hen house. Some super cute ideas in there. If you go to Stampington.com a few times a year you can get back issues for just a couple of bucks, considering these mags are $16 it's quite a deal.

Tammy...I am with you girl...I miss our Borders Stores. We had 4 with in a half hr. drive from out home. And even though B&N is the
closest bookstore (and still open)...we would travel to all of the different ones...because we loved the diversity of each Location.

I won't complain though lest B&N should close too. We go to the Bookstore and hang out in the cafe 4 to 5 times per week. We would
be lost with no bookstores. The Library just isn't the same to me.
As I had managed two Christian Bookstores...bookstores are just in my blood. I have to be places where there are good books.

blessings and hugs,
Peggy

Tammy is the secret "real Housewife of California"! Our Borders closed too, We still have Barnes and Nobles, but not the same! I think my Aunt may have most of my granny's aprons. My granny had enough for all the daughters, in laws, and grand daughters to put on, over their Sunday Dress, when we use to have the big family dinners after church in the 70's- the 90's. She would insist! If she ran out of Aprons, she had house dresses. I have a pic of me with the Red Flowered one over my Easter dress. Recently I got a pic from my aunt of her daughter and my daughter in granny's house dresses because they fell down a mud hill, at the dairy farm next to My grandparents. It is so cute they are about 12 years old.

I am trying to figure out how to post pictures in the Hen House I know it can be done but for the life of me and my son the computer nerd we can not figure it out. Something about Photobucket (I think), but if none of the original Chicks know how to do it I will call Brian at the farm and ask him as I want us to be able to post pictures.
Will keep you updated on this.
Hugs,
Debbie

Somehow, I do not think you can post pictures in this forum. But, if you figure out how to do to, please post the instruction manual! lol I spent hours trying to figure it out when I was going to do that quilting course, hence why I opened the blog. Good luck!

Posting pictures is so much easier on the other forum or what some of you call the "dark side" lol Hum... perhaps we should contact the almighty computer wizard - wouldn't that be Brian?
