I remember ironing in the 70's and even earning a little money with it. Now I only iron when I need to, not all that often. :D

Happy News to hear Joan! It was 100 degrees here on Thursday, a cold front blew in late Saturday, and today is like Spring with a high of only 80 degrees, winds from the North!

Beautiful day here, 80 and sunny skies. Perfect day to weed the garden and pick strawberries. Margaritas tonight and canning strawberry syrup tomorrow. Yummy!

We had a fair day here with fog in the morning and some tonight which has cooled us considerably. I think we are cool now which is normal for summer here. We had a week of high 70's snd 80's and that is hot for here.

Yes Carole, they are frozen. There is nothing better than fresh strawberries in an Icey margarita after a hectic day. You girls just pop over to my deck and I will be happy to pour you a glass. I might even put some Beatles on just for Connie.

Hugs

I could so use that drink Julie. What a month it's been in my home and at the shoppe. No time to myself, buried in stuff due to the renovations. Running around like a chicken with her head cut off, so much to get done, all while looking for things that are packed away or just plain hidden by Sprites! I'm exhausted! Ok, I'm visualizing myself sitting on your deck sipping that delicious frozen margarita! I like salt on the rim of my glass! ;o) Cheers!

So this is the kind of morning I'm having already. My cat "Cutie" seems to be developing an allergy?! Can this actually happen? She's only 5 yrs old. Poor baby sneezing, wheezing, coughing. The vet gave her antibodiatic for 7 days. I hope this is just a cold and not an allergy. I will keep you all posted. Just another streesful day in my life lol.

Isn't weird that animals can get the same things we have. My little Boston terror has thyroid issues that she is on medication for. Hate when the furbabies get sick. Worse than kids because they can tell you what is wrong. Thank goodness for great vets. Ours is awesome and he has such a big heart for everyone of the animals he treats.

So I called the vet again, and he said not to be alarmed yet!? She still has to finish her medication and then we'll see what's going on with her :(
I am so nervous, she's my furbaby ... It's amazing how we humans love our furry (or non furry) animals lol.

Julie I am on my way! Denise, we have 2 cats taking thyroid meds for the rest of their life, but they are doing great! Joan, another one of our cats has allergies(our vet said he is allergic to people LOL!) and has to get a shot every 30 days. He does fine after his shot, we have been doing that for a year. They are like our kids! Marlee, Bless your heart!
