I know we don't really have a heading for this so I put it under here.
I would so appreciate if you could keep my sister, Dawn, in prayer. She is battling cancer. A rare one indeed, adnoidcysticcarcinoma. It was in both lungs and they were able to remove one one tumor and part of her lung. Not so with the other lung and it appeared also in the liver. She has had three chemotherapy treatments over the last 3 months. She waited a long time to do anything about it but the chemo seems to have shrunken the one in her lung a bit. The tumor on the liver has grown. It is inoperable but she was doing well up until this last treatment 3 weeks ago. She doesn't seem to be bouncing back from the chemo like she had before. She was running a fever so they took her to the doctor. Don't really know what happened with that has I have not talked to anyone recently. She is a believer, but she does not seem to be drawing closer to the Lord, just the opposite.
I would ask that you pray for her physical and spiritual needs.

Oh Denise I am so sorry that your sister Dawn is going though such struggles and will keep her in my heart, thoughts and prayers for her physical and spiritual needs. Cancer is an ugly monster but I do believe in miracles as my best friend is living proof of it, so do not give up, I know having you near and close to your sister to help her through is a great burden lifted for her. So, hang in there and keep strong, you are in my heart, thoughts and prayers as well.

my prayers are going up for your sister and asking God to give her strength to heal and healing of her spirit so that she gets closer to God with this.

Debbie,
I do not live near my sister. 1800 miles away actually but I did spend a month with her at my dad's in February and March. She is staying with my dad because she doesn't want him to be alone. He will be moving in with us sometime the beginning of June. We have to go pack him up and get his house on the market. A big job for us to be sure. But with God's help we will get everything done.
My heart hurts for what she is going through. If she is going to pass from this world I pray it will be quickly so she doesn't suffer and if not then I pray God will direct her to the right people and places to help her. She can't go to Cancer Center of America because her insurance won't cover it. She is also not a candidate for Sloan Kettering or anywhere like that. I know that God knows the beginning from the end and he wants what is best for her. I do too but it is hard if God's best will be for him to take her. Thank you all so much for praying. I know God works amazing things when we pray.

I just want to give you all an update. I talked to my sister after her last Dr. appointment. They will not be continuing chemo as it is doing more damage than good to her body. He suggested Hospice but she does not want them. Her husband's sister is there now and will be for a few weeks.
We are heading to see her in a couple of days.
