Everybody affected from yesterday ok?
Was a crazy and scary at times afternoon/evening. My family and friends ok and mostly debris damage. One of my daughters car windows was shattered, but that's a fixable thing!

Hope everyone is ok with little damages!

Blessings,
Linda

Linda, so glad your ok! We had Tornado warnings just about a week ago. it was 89 degrees and then dropped over 5 hours to the 40's ,so we stayed tuned to our weather station, the rest of the evening. Thank the Lord! none touched down,Just some wind damage. We have such crazy weather here the last few years!

WE had a tornado warning in November, last year! Use to be only during the Spring, when I was growing up! Smiles Today for what ever your doing, I am cleaning house!

I think some of our Ks /Mo gals may have some storms today later??
Hope to hear from Amber soon as well. Some are still without power here I think. Brenda and her family also had to go to shelter last night but all is well!
:)

Linda, I am so glad to hear you are ok and that Brenda is too. You have both been on my mind. This is the first chance I've had to get on here. We had 70 mph straight line winds last night here, some damage around our neighborhood but nothing serious. It has only knicked Raymore so far today. My heart is so heavy for those who have been hit so hard.

I'm here! that darn thing went right over my house. Oddly enough I was not at home when the storm hit I was at the garden store picking up soil and plants. I threw everything in the car in an attempt to get home but I didn't. So I stopped at the west side mall and ran inside they were escorting people into the shelter. It was pretty scary, the noises you hear when a tornado goes over you is eery.

Oh Amber thank goodness you were able to get to shelter! You were at my end. On the westside. On Douglas west of Delano part of downtown.
We foolishly waited til last minute to get to shelter? My fault cuz it didn't look so bad? Then it changed quickly and we were getting to the apt complex shelter as it was coming. I can't walk fast and it was creepy and scary!!! Soaked from rain sand the hail began!! Won't be that foolish again!!
Glad things are ok Amber!!

Blessings,
Linda

I just read in the Denver Post that a Colorado Storm Chaser and his son died in the latest Oklahoma Tornado. His name was Tim Samaras and he was on the Discovery Channel and with Natl Geographic chasing storms and did a lot of work to help with Tornado warnings.
It is sad but I am not surprised when they get that close.
I just want you all to stay safe in these storms .
Prayers for all the people caught in them.
