Ladies it seems I'm always asking for prayers. Weds. hubby and I took mom to the hospital. She just turned 89 last week. She just couldn't get around on her own and just didn't feel good. Her legs and feet were so swollen and the skin was breaking around her ankles. We was told in Dec. that she had congestive heart failure. Now add diabetes,And kidneys only working 50%. Her body is not producing blood. So they are giving her a lot of Iron. She's a fighter, but I fear that she's got more than she can fight. We would appreciate all the prayers we can have. I will try to keep in touch. I'm meeting with her primary dr. at 5:00 and hope to catch the heart dr. Going to be a lot of changes for her. Big hugs to you all, Brenda

Prayers going up for your mom, Brenda. I will pray that she gets stronger and know God is with her.

I have a prayer request for a friend of mine in the Post Office, her name is Coleen Raven who has been fighting cancer for a lot of years. It gets taken care of and she has done ok but this time she has a form in the lymph nodes and she does not feel good about this one. She loves the Lord with all her heart and is a strong Christian but she is thinking this might be her last time. Pray for healing and strength. She does not have much help for her family, she has been the strong one of the family.

Darleen I'm sending prayers for your dear friend, Colleen. For strength and comfort. And for her family also as they try to stay strong for her. God can make miracles when we feel things are not going well. I pray for his will. And Darleen I'd like to add you in my prayers also, friendship is a very special blessing and it is hard to see someone we love suffering.
Sherry my moms name is Irene. They are sending her home tomorrow after she gets her last bag of iron. Not really much more they can do for her. We just need to keep track of the swelling and weight gain. If I see either one, I'm to take her back.
And thank you all for the prayers. It's a comfort knowing that all my sisters are praying and mom will be glad for the prayers.

Thank you Teri for the prayers. I'm just sitting here to see if they are going to send her home. Yesterday the dr. said she could but this morning her blood count dropped again. So more IRON hooked up. We'll see. My dear sisters it is a comfort just knowing we are in your prayers. Big Hugs, Brenda

Beverly, I pray that time will heal your sorrow for your Mama, and that you will come to remember the great memories of things and joy that you did with her. I know it must have been special. My friend Coleen was not feeling very good and she was supposed to go to have a MRI but I haven't heard more. Thanks for prayers.
I will see if my other friend knows something.

Ladies my mom with for a check up yesterday and the dr. said he thought she was doing well considering everything. He said the kidneys are damaged and theres nothing they can do at her age. So she has to learn to rest and keep her legs up. She can be stubborn and thinks she can do everything herself. But I think maybe she'll try. My daughter and g-daughter is going over every two weeks to clean her house and change the bed. So that's a step forward for her. Thank you all for the prayers. Hugs, Brenda
