Hi Gals, I hope all of you got your Mother's Day surprise and it put a big smile on all of your faces. And all of you had a very special Mother's Day.
Wednesday I will be posting the next few months of events for our Hen House, here are some hints:-)
1. History/Scrapbook of SPG Hen House and starting June Fun Swap
2. 4th of July
3. My Birthday Give Away/July
4. BookSwap/Library Augues
5. A 3 month swap, all about getting to know one another, it will run from Oct. 1st through January 3rd.
6. Making a craft for another, or anything homemade.
6. Any ideas that you may have.
My goal as your Mama Hen (thank you Connie for the name I love that better than Hen Hencho) is to take care of each other in our times of troubles and sickness through support, love and hugs, have fun, and get to know one another better. I love, love farmgirl mail as most of you know, so I never want our mailboxes to be empty, I want us to be an active Hen House and we stay as busy as each of us wants.
We all will have a say and be respectful of one another, no drama, no meaness, just love and fun, and never forget each other. We have a beautiful group of women in our Hen House and all of you are so special and each have talents, that we can share with one another.
So, think about it all, let me have your feedback and Monday, I will share what we will do in June, something very special and all of us will be involved, but no rust and no time table, just plain fun.

Mama Hen is perfect for you because you are such a special person and make me feel so welcome here. I love your ideas and it is going to be so much fun getting to know everyone better.

Debbie thank you so much for our cute surprise. Growing up in Kansas the wheat was so special. I think the historical scrapbook would be nice. As well as the others listed. Can't wait to get started. And I want to thank you for all you are doing. It takes a caring and active mama hen to keep the henhouse alive. I think we are the only one right now that is active. So many new sisters is so exciting. And looking forward to meeting each one. Snail mail sounds fun, I truly enjoyed your letter. I have become lazy with the fb and texting, etc. I use to write letters all the time and have always enjoyed receiving them. So it looks like fun times ahead! Hugs Brenda

Mama Hen is full of great ideas...I love them all and can't wait to start. Okay I am still doing my recipe cards (hanging my head in shame). Thank you Debbie for the lovely silver wheat necklace..it is the perfect symbol for our henhouse (can I be a chick instead of a hen....LOL).
Seriously, I love the happiness and excitement that you are providing for us. It is just what I need from MJF. You all are the best group of farmsisters!

I love my Necklace, also! Sorry I have been running against the wind for the past few weeks! When I was in Ireland they had Wheat symbols called Bridgett's Cross, Farm Women weaved them from Wheat and hung them over the doorways to" Bless all who come inside!" That is so like all of us!!When I saw the little Wheat, It made me think of Ireland and how those of us that love the Farm, no matter the shape and size, have the same Heart!

Thank you so much for the Mother's Day gift! I love it and it will go on my car mirror, so that I can see it everyday.
And you have a wonderful line up of fun ...

Debbie, I see the Dr tomorrow and I'm somewhat certain surgery is ahead. So for now I'm going to have to pull out of projects and activities for awhile. Will check in the henhouse tho ok??

Debbie, thank you so much for the sweet gift and card! I love the wheat sheaf and its meaning.
What a wonderful symbol for our little hen house. I am so enjoying coming here to see what my sisters are up to. The projects you have lined up sound wonderful and I will join in as much as I can.
