10/12/12: we are CANCELLING this exchange . . . we'll come up with something else later on.
THANKS GIRLS!!!
CJ

Hi there Dear Henhouse "Chicks",

It's been a while since we've shared anything of ourselves and our lives with each other. I know that summer and fall are really busy and many of your are canning and doing all the "puttin' away" for winter.

I'd like to suggest that we do another Chick Exchange by:
- taking TWO of our favorite recipes . . anything you want, write it on a nice recipe card

- write a LITTLE note about your favorite things about FALL

-send to EACH "Chick" who signs up. So, everyone here in the Henhouse who signs up for this will receive TWO of your recipes and a note about your Fall Favorites.

1. Sign up here on this thread
2. Sign up CLOSES on OCTOBER 13th (Saturday)
3. Mail 'em out by the END of OCTOBER

SIGNED UP so far:
- Diana
- Laurie
- CJ
- Robin
- Marilyn

I hope you'll be interested in sharing recipes, yourself and with each other!

THANKS GIRLS!
CJ . . the ole mother hen

All,

I'm thinking about participating. I'll make a decision by Sun., 13 oct 12. I'm trying to finish a wool coat by Sat., 3 Nov 12 so I can enter it in my state's (AZ) Make It With Wool Competition. I'm close to "throwing in the towel" as, I'd rather enjoy the sewing process than rush and do a poor job. Between physical therapy for my shoulder (2.5 hours, 3 times per week) and a fashion design class the other two days of the week, I don't have much time.

Sincerely,

Rali

Hi Rali,

How is it going with the wool coat? I hope that you got it done : )

Since we live so close together, I was wondering if you would like to get together some time? If so, please email me and we can set something up.

Warmly,
Pam

By the way, we may have cancelled the fall recipe exchange, but I want to take a moment to say Happy Thanksgiving to our Mother Hen and all of the Chicks in our henhouse! I hope that everyone has a wonderful holiday.

Warmly,

Rali,
I'd love to see your wool creations . . I bet they are beautiful!
For me, since I'm a Colorado girl and heat intolerant, wool clothes in the desert just seems too much for me. BUT that would not detract from the beauty!
