I wanted to let all of you to know I chose one of our own for our October FGOTM. Since some of you do not subscribed to Across the Fence this is what I posted.
Wow! Where did September go? October already and Fall is here. I am not good with words so please bear with me.
First, thank you so much Marcy for choosing me for September FGOTM, it was such an honor and everyone made me feel so special.
What is a Farmgirl?
A "farmgirl" to me represents Attitude/Heart/Mind. She has Kindness, caring, sharing, sense of humor, integrity, love, all this and so much more.
For all of these reasons (and more) I choose Marilyn Raber (mountain mama) as our October FGOTM. Not only is Marilyn my friend but she is My Sister of My Heart, and she is so special to me. She has always been there for me and always will be, she loves me no matter what, she is a True Blue Farmgirl.
Enjoy your month Marilyn and thank you for all you are to me and many others.

You honor me beyond belief. I think the Southwest Farmgirls are all Farmgirls of the month.

Do we need to vote or something? I really don't know how FGOTM works...having said that, congratulations Marilyn! I am so glad to know you.

I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad you picked our own "mountain mama" Marilyn! She certainly deserves to be Farmgirl of the Month!!
Marilyn is a TRUE, BLUE FARMGIRL!!!
I know how honored I was when I was selected . . . TOTALLY SURPRISED too! . . . for November in 2009! Can you believe it's been almost three years. AND, then I was TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY when I was chosed as FARMGIRL SISTER OF THE YEAR for 2010 . . . by Mary Jane herself.
That just blew my socks clear off! I have been truly honored and blessed!
You girls are ALL a blessing to me!

Marilyn....congratulations on being chosen to be our October FGOTM! Debbie chose well my friend! You truly epitomize the farmgirl spirit in every single way that matters, and I love you for that :)
