Thank you for all the wonderful birthday cards with your kind, caring farmgirl, "chick" thoughts!
You helped make my birthday REALLY, REALLY, "EGG-STRA" SPECIAL!!!
Since my BD was on Saturday and I was able to "clear" the schedule for stuff I had to do I decided it would "Birthday Girl Day Out".
I went putzing and poking around whereever I wanted. There are three greenhouse/nursery businesses here that do wonderful things at Christmas . . I visited all three of them.
Treated myself to lunch at "The Farm Bistro" a local farm-to-table restaurant that is also selling my aprons for me. It was a lovely lunch . . and the host, who is the guy who works with me on my apron sales, gave me a fresh, out-of-the-oven brownie on the house for my birthday.
For supper, my hubby and I went to the Dolores River Brewery Pub . . they have THE ABSOLUTE BEST pizza!! Pale ale!! Locally grown salads!!! OUT OF THIS WORLD homemade desserts!
It was a laid-back day for me and that is a RARE thing for me!
I'm thankful for the day! I'm thankful the Lord has given me another birthday!!
I'm thankful for my family!!!
I'm thankful for YOU GIRLS . . . my Henhouse "Chick" Farmgirl Friends!!

Yipee! Aren't birthdays the best.
And happy belated birthday to those few I missed in October and November (Robin, Rali and Tammy). I was a bit occupied.

How wonderful to spend YOUR day just the way you wanted, sometimes we just do not get enough of those days.
You are a wonderful Mother Hen and Dear Friend, I appreciate you so much, and look forward to the New Year with you and my Southwest Hen Sisters who are so special.
