Hi just wanted to say that I'm excited about starting on badges. I want to do a bag for the going green and an apron for sewing badge. This last week we had just found out we were going to be grandparents again. My son just turned 35 and his wife is 34, they have a 17 and 14 year olds. And surprised us with this one. But sadly we just found out they lost the baby but I think they will try again soon. The 17 year old is my sons daughter and the 14 year old is my daughter-in-laws. But they have been together now for 12 years. And just wanted one together. So God willing it will work out. Still busy taking care of mom and that's keeping me busy. I believe in June DH is going to take an early retirement. He's been unemployed for a year and at his age not getting any offers. After he retires, he can then get a little p/t job somewhere to have a reason to get out awhile. YIPPEE, it's hard cleaning house with him right in the middle of it all. hahaha I'm seriously thinking about trying my hand of selling some of my crafts. With the way the economy is, not sure how it will go, but Linda keeps telling I should at least try. Well I lead a pretty quiet and boring life compared to others, but I have alot right here at home to keep me busy. And totally enjoy the Henhouse. So I guess that this is about all for me to share right now. Love you girls, Brenda

I think I can apply for one of the sewing badges, shopping green badge, and a knitting badge. Need to double check the requirements for each level and make sure I have done it right. For sewing, I just made my daughter a skirt. Havent sewn in YEARS, just taking it up again. Now the skirt is great EXCEPT for the 'yoke'. Didi not turn out well at all, not sure what I did wrong on that, but it puckers all around the waistband. She doesnt care cuz it is covered by her sweaters. I care, and will make it right, darn it, LOL!

Next week, maybe I can start my shopping bag for the swap and begin to cover and decorate my scrapbook covers for that swap as well. Happy Badging!!

Blessings, Linda

Will the newsletter be coming in the mail or via email? I haven't gotten anything yet. Still home with a bad case of the flu, fever, cough, and my Tamiflu!

Will be workin on our March/April newsletter shortly. Please send anything you would like to share. A couple things shared last month made it into my bulk box, and I deleted them in error. Please those of you who send me recipes, thoughts, etc. please resend. Thankfully, I think I have that prob taken care of so it won't happen again.
