Wow, For a long time I never expected to get married and at 40 I about gave up, partly because I was always on the road and no chance to meet anyone. Well Ed gave me an apple at the Farmer's Market and that was the end of that. Now, a year and a half later we are getting married. Both of our families have been asking each of us, respectively, for over a year when this was to happen. He of course waited until after the proposal to tell me all the stories coming from his side. I could only laugh, thinking it was only my side going wacky with the questions.

So, I'm dancing around the house and looking at everything I have to move. oh boy. I'm excited,a little worried as we've both lived alone for a long time and living together is a change, though we have talked about that too. Mostly, I can't wait. hehe

CONGRATULATIONS LAURIE!!!
I did get your email from a couple days or so ago . . . I'm not really ignoring you.

So, when is this momentous occasion going to take place? You'll be moving to Hotchkiss area? Or am I incorrect in that info?

Moving . . . hmmmmmm!!! I hope I never have to again!
Anyway, CONGRATS!!!

I will be moving to Hotchkiss. CJ your memory is amazing. We won't really do a wedding, but will have a party in later May. Figured we needed to introduce our families at some point. ha. Waiting to find out when my sis and her hubby will be back in the states and trying to arrange around that, so they won't have to make an extra trip.

No worries on the email.

Thanks all,
Laurie

Congratulations Laurie, please keep us posted on all the latest developments. Good luck with the moving - it may seem overwhelming right now but you will find it to be exciting at the same time.

Robin,
It's 20 miles east of Delta off HWY 92. About an hour from Montrose, so not too far.
