Ok everyone, I am betting by now you all are either started on or thinking and wishing you could start on something for Christmas. Is it decorations? Gifts? We all would love to hear from each other, I'm sure. Remember we need to post or our henhouse will be removed. They keep track of the amount of posts, and inactive henhouses will be taken off, so please, everyone, keep in touch!
I think an ornament would be doable, so I might try to get one or two done. Would love to see any ideas for ornaments. I had some I saw at a quilt convention, I wonder if I bookmarked the pattern on my favorites? I hope so, now I would like to find it!

Ok, found it. Look at the website for Chickadee Hollow Designs , go to ornaments, vintage. They have three ornament listings, all adorable! The Christmas ones are under the vintage ornaments. They have quilt patterns as well as stitchery, the Christmas link also brings you to the little ornaments. Very cute site! Enjoy!!

I've never thought about doing an ornament. I'm going to have to check that site.

Since I moved all my stitching stuff into the basement I haven't picked up a needle. I need to get back at it!

I just received my pattern in the mail ordered from CrabApple Hill, which has a rural village stitched on all four sides around some patchwork, so cute. I have to get started asap if I want to finish it this winter! It is a winter scene, really cute.

I have been tatting snowflakes for my Mom and my 2 DD. And, I have just figured out I have too many things to do before Christmas--3 dolls, 5 snowflakes, embroidered pillowcases, etc...... Too many projects, not enough time. Oh, I'm gonna see midnight everynight for a while.

Donna,
Good luck with all of that! I already know there is no way possible to finish all my things I would like to do. Oh well, maybe next year!

Did any of you go to check out those ornaments? Just wondering if anyone is going to make them. Now that it is colder out, I am actually sitting on the couch at night getting some stitching and knitting done. Yaaaay!
