Happy Mother's Day to Everyone,

I say this in celebration to all women. Some have children, some have pets, some a husband (they are our biggest children), but all women have a nuturing way about them. Thus Motherhood comes in many forms.

I know we have a few quilter's in this group and I just wanted to share a great web site with you all.

Leah Day sends an email about once a week or two weeks with daily designs for free motion quilting. These are free! She is trying to make designs for every day of the year.

I want to learn how to do free motion quilting. I like even just the simple stipple look, but I love the flower patterns and paisley looking patterns. We bought a floor model,a small short arm quilting machine at a great discount from a local quilt shop, (in the next city actually), over two years ago. Right about the time when I started suspecting I was going to lose my job. My husband still hasn't finished the room in the basement to set it up in! I knew once I wasn't working things would be tight, so I knew it was a now or never deal! It does seem kind of complicated, but I hopefully will figure it out.
God grant me a long healthy life, just long enough to finish all my projects I want to do!

Can't bring myself to do this. I do only by hand.
