I went to Hanson's family farm and interviewed the husband. He said that he was in 4H and loved to have animals he also said that he went to school, later on, to learn how to farm. He is now retired and runs a full ranch. Got a small tour of his ranch. He raises cow's goat's sheep and chickens. I purchased some meat. My family really enjoyed the beef that I purchased we made tacos. I liked talking to them. I saw how great he takes care of all the animals.

Allison, what an interesting trip you made out to this beef farmer. I think many children develop a love of farming from the 4-H experiences. My daughter was in 4-H in High School and did dairy goat projects. Today she keeps a hobby herd of about 10 LaMancha goats and breeds them for milkers. She also makes the best soft goat cheese too. I love the fact that many animal farmers are devoted to the work of proper animal husbandry and take care of respect their animals.
