I am just having breakfast, toast with rhubarb jam. Like a taste of spring, and so good, even though it was canned. Will be making more in a couple of months.

Yum! That's sounds so good! I haven't had rhubarb in years. I remember as a kid eating the stalks. So sour but I love it.

My mother used to have a rhubarb patch. Loved a rhubarb sauce - had lots of sugar in it - over vanilla ice cream.

Ohhh, I love rhubarb anything TOO! Sounds so yummy! I tried to grow it here but we get way too hot. Bummer

Rhubarb is so yummy -- I like it best cooked up like applesauce. We had some growing a long time ago but my son's goat got loose and ate it. I thought the leaves were poisonous but apparently goats four stomachs take care of that because the she didn't suffer any ill effects.

My father in law gave us some rhubarb jam. I am just waiting to finish our raspberry jam first and then we will be trying it. I’m excited! I loved eating the stocks when I was younger too!

I've never had rhubarb jam or pie. I remember having a stock when I was kid and I don't think I loved it LOL! Guess I'll have to give it a try since you all love it so much :)

Heather, I feel the stalks are really tart and sour, but when it’s cooked in things or turned to jam it’s wonderful. Definitely give it a try.

From cake to pie, to jam, it is spring time fresh and good. Though I would never chew on a stalk of rhubarb. lol way to sour.
