Joey, You said what I was feeling. Thank you. Now I feel a bit better. I found a coupe you tub videos and on line beginner patterns.
Are there recommended dimensions for the dish cloths?

Please, don't any of you ladies worry about not knowing fancy stitches or what not. This swap is meant to be for every skill level! :) As for dimensions, I'm keeping things as easy and open as possible. I've made sponge sized dish cloths clean up to ones that turned out so large I've used them as doilies. Just whatever strikes your fancy! Personally, if I'm actually using my dish cloth to wash dishes, I prefer them no bigger than 10". But again, if its larger, they make wonderful doilies and table toppers, so I wouldn't worry too much about sizes.

Hi Joey,
The colors you pick are as important as the stitches. If you don't have fancy stitches mastered yet then play with colors. It will be fun. I promise.

Terri- I did not! I just genuinely really love dish cloths. However, I think this swap, be it now or in one of the upcoming months, would be an absolutely excellent place for someone to have the pleasure of a swap AND earn a badge. I am all for having fun and learning new things, and I want this swap to be welcoming to everyone whether they are struggling through their very first crochet/knitting project, have been making these things for years, and all points in between. <3 :)
Edit: I just looked, for curiosity sake, and a dish cloth is also a way to earn your beginner knitting badge.
