Hello ladies! I have fairly recently discovered that I absolutely adore cotton dish cloths. Using them, making them, the colors...Just everything. I have never hosted a swap before, but if any of my Sisters are willing to take a chance on a relative newbie, I'd like to try.

All that is needed is one cotton dish cloth. Can be crocheted, knitted, simple, fancy...You get the picture! :) Tucks are not required.

Sign up is now until June 14th with partners posted on June 15th and mail out on the 16th.

Marilyn, I am passed annoyed. I did not put a tracking number on your package but I will from now on. I am so sorry your package has not been delivered yet. I am giving the Postal Service till the end of July. If I is not to you by then, I will happily mail you another. Thank you for your patience.
On another note, hubby and I drove 1200 miles and are now in Philly for a month to honor my aunt and get her house, hopefully, ready to sell. In Charleston, SC almost nobody (except us) were wearing masks. At the travel plaza in Maryland, everyone was wearing a mask, except when eating. It was interesting to see the big difference.

My package from Jessie arrived today and it was so much fun to find everything!!!

Jessie embroidered this amazing dishtowel to go with a lovely dishcloth!! They are beautiful Jessie!! She also included some great teas, a cherry cupcake recipe and these adorable Peanuts stickers!! I love stickers for adding to letters or cards. Thank-you also for the beautiful cherry print fabric. It is so summery and cute and I will enjoy finding a project to use it with.

This dishcloth swap was a lot of fun and a big Thank-you again, Jessie!!

I received my dish cloth from Loretta at my home in WA. Since I am still in CA, my husband took a picture of it so I may share it with this group. I just love the rainbow colors! Especially the yellow right in the middle! Looks like there is a decal Montana Love also. Thank you, Loretta! Fun swap!

Loretta, your June dish cloth is on it's way to you. You should receive it by Friday. So sorry for the delay. I had such fun learning how to knit with this project. I return home to WA on Sunday and have yarn waiting there for me for the July dish cloth swap. They are really addicting!!! Hugs and stitches!

How wonderful and what a comfort for you, Marilyn. I am actually am a Certified Grief Specialist. I coach others thru grief and I love doing it. I have been taking care of myself and my husband takes good care of me. I eat healthy and am sleeping more. Once we get back from the upcoming month in Philly, I will be able to get back to my own Florida life. The support from my family, friends and Farmgirls has been a great comfort me. I also thank God that I am grounded in faith.

Joey, after my mother passed away I was at the clinic, waiting for my daughter in law. I picked up a little booklet and began to read. It told me that I was in a phase called Brown Out. It suggested taking naps and walks. Prayers were also suggested. It said it would be best to return to regular life after 3 or 4 days. Well I thought that was great advice and thanked God. Since then I came to a conclusion...God placed that booklet there for me to read that day. It was the only one there , I looked. I even looked later when I was back out there. My bestest friend came when I needed him most.

Farmsisters, thank you all for your prayers and kind thoughts. It has been hard. These were all unexpected deaths and none were from COVID 19. Grief is hard but I am slowly getting my bearings again. The last memorial service we have to do is my aunts on 8/1 so I will be back in Philly mid-July thru mid-August and can then hopefully I can return home to Florida and can get some quiet beach time. Oh, how I appreciate all of you.
I wish I knew how to post a picture on here because the dish cloths I got from Marilyn are definately worth seeing...such pretty, bright colors that I love, and a pretty scrubby too. Marilyn, I love them and have already used the pink granny square. Thank you so much. My hubby put your package in the mail last week. I hope they deliver it to you soon. Hugs to you all, Joey

Hi, Joey,
Just wanted to say sorry to hear about your loss, and you are in my prayers. I hope the fun and friendship here helps a little bit to take your mind off things and begin to heal. Sending virtual hugs,
Amy

Hi, Hannah,
I'm so glad you like it! I adore those colors, and seem to have many variations on that theme in my yarn collection, but that particular one is my newest purchase and it just seemed right, kinda half spring-y and half summer-y, with a little bit of memories of roller skates with pompoms thrown in! ;-)
I absolutely LOVE the dish scrubber you sent me... it reminds me of so many happy things-- flowers, snowflakes, hearts, hand-pieced quilts, etc. And pink is hands down my favorite color so the color scheme you chose is the icing on the cake! It's going to be hard to use it for its intended purpose, but I'll try... oh, and thanks too for the dish towel. It was so kind of you to include a nice extra!
Take care, Hannah,
& thanks again for sharing your beautiful "work of heart,"
Amy

Amy, such a lovely dish cloth! I thought it was funny that you used roller skate paper for the note, because as soon as I saw it, I thought it reminded me of roller rink colors! You did a fantastic job and I love it, thank you! :)

Darlene,
What a wonderful surprise as I opened the envelope so full of wonderful goodies. I like how you have folded the dishcloth into such a wonderful package. And the contents,... you have included such wonderful stuff. I should tell you, Mom claimed the Peanut butter M&M's. It is so much fun. She decided we need to get a package together for my sister. And, the this_N_that bag, what a wonderful idea, candy and drinks, you are so sweet. You ladies have helped to lift my spirits as I pack, send ad receive swaps. Thanks for everything.

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord

Hannah,
Thank you for the wonderful package! Love the dishcloth! Thank you, also, for the sweet dishtowel, tea and beautiful Marjolein Bastin card. Marolein Bastin is one of my favorite artists. I think she loves what farmgirls love.

I am happy you liked your package! We have the vibrant orange daylilies all around this place and in many ditches on the sides of the roads, too. They are little bursts of sunshine in the Summer, no matter the weather. Many Blessings!

Keep shining!
Natalie
