October starts tomorrow and I thought it would be fun to do a Halloween themed kitchen swap. If you love funny smiling pumpkins, candy corn, and all the other Halloween themes and enjoy decorating up your kitchen for this holiday, then please join in the fun!
In your swap, please include one favorite recipe that is perfect for a Halloween celebration with friends. The rest of the swap is up to you! Also, before you include any candy, please check with your swap partner be be sure they want candy. Some people may be diabetic or just not a sweets person.

I'm in, I love sweet vintage Halloween and pumpkin everything! This will be alot of fun. I love dark chocolate and mint. Candy corn is also a favorite fall treat. Thank you for hosting.

I love seeing that several of you mentioned loving candy corn!!! I do too and I think we are a small number these days. Most people say they hate candy corn. Hehehe, I have some on my desk right now. My favorite is Zachary Candy Corn that is manufactured in Indiana. I saw some Caramel Apple flavor , in Hobby Lobby. Yum!!!

I like candy corn, too. Is it getting sweeter all the time, or is that just me?
I also love Farmhouse Halloween decorations when I can find them.

WOW! And this is why I LOVE my small town post office. I got my daily mail digest this morning saying we had one package coming today and another on Friday. I checked and the Friday package was from Rebecca for this swap. Well, one of the postal carriers, a friend/neighbor from down the road, just brought me two packages, and one was the package from Rebecca. That is SERVICE! Two days earlier than promised.
And, Rebecca, I love everything you sent. Wait until you see what I sent you - we were definitely on the save wavelength for this swap. LOL! Here is a picture of what Rebecca sent me. She made me a Halloween apron, she found the CUTEST dishtowel that says Meow-O-Ween with kitties and pumpkin on it, Halloween cookie cutters and cupcake baking cups (I was going to make cookies and cupcakes this weekend with my grandson Richard, a cute Trick or Treat basket, two packages of Candy Corn, and 4 great sounding recipes that I definitely want to try - Pumpkin Brownies, Pumpkin Gingerbread, Iced Pumpkin Cookies, and Pumpkin Ginger Cookies. This is great!
I just realized I forgot to include recipes. I will email them!
