Anyone with a Cracker Barrel restaurant - they have LOTS of Bee stuff - S/P shakers, kitchen and tea towels, plaques, honey pots, etc. They go great with our theme!

Oh I'm so excited about "In The Garden"! I had already decided I'm doing this year's Jubilee on our front porch since I now have furntiure out there. This will be a lot of fun! We've had a couple of cool snaps here over the past two weeks, but now things are warming up. Here's a little peek of my front yard porch garden.

Here's a photo of a hummingbird feeder I'm putting up. Factory Direct has these jar toppers. I have lots of jars this size. Does anyone have a favorite recipe to share for the birds?

Grace I'll join you in the garden to celebrate our 2018 Jubilee. I haven't had a hummingbird feeder in years so I'll hang one this year on my front porch. A hummingbird garden flag would be fun to make too.

THanks, Sara! I do, too. I think those are ones that I got three years ago. It's time to really whack them back and repot the cuttings. They are really leggy.

Oh my goodness we received so much needed snow yesterday, but oh I was so looking forward to spring.
Have a new hummingbird feeder as our Scout Hummer usually comes early to see what we have then brings his friends, guess we will have to wait a bit longer.
Hopefully soon!
All this snow though really has helped with the dryness as we have already had 4 Wild fires I’m the area.
I am still looking for a Bee Apron as I do not sew :-) Cracker Barrel did not have one when I was there last.
Have a Beautiful weekend all.
Hugs,
Deborah (My birth name, just found out) I love this name!

BIC... isn't it funny how we tolerate the weather ... we know we need the snow and rains... but our soul/spirit crave the warm sunshine...
I have a shoe wardrobe that consists mostly of (cowgirl) boots and flipflops... most of my fancy/ high heeled shoes have been donated while some I keep tucked away as a reminder of my other Life when I was in the workforce and dressed up daily.. now I find it a chore to even put jewlery on... thou I did wear my string of pearls and a pair of cute low heeled shoes when Hubby dearest took me to lunch..

We just got back from a two week trip and got busy getting our bird feeders cleaned and stocked, more flowers planted for the summer, and the Hummingbird feeder up again. I need to plant my annual summer Basil plant this coming week and perhaps some thyme or oregano. The Basil always does well, but for some reason thyme and oregano die when it gets too hot and humid. This year, I am going to use pots and a different location to see if that makes a difference.

Glad many of you are finally getting some Spring weather. Just in time to celebrate our annual Farmgirl Jubilee!!

Sylvia,,, yep,,, we are getting some nice weather here on the East side of the state too!

Winnie, great idea to use the pots,, so you can re-locate you herbs if the sun gets to intense.

HI garden peeps! I am bouncing in after a bout with a late seasonal flu.
Grace, I adore your amber bee skep!
Love the geraniums and Sylvia, the little hummer feeders are completely adorable! I ALWAYS use a 4:1 ration, water:1cpwhitesugar for my hummers last 15 years or so and they are doing great! ALWAYS get them very early and last one usually leaves late October then I have a few stragglers. :)
The flower garden has green shoots everywhere now after a second replant due to crazy weather, the veggies are opping through nicely and I love the fresh asparagus on my salads these last 2 weeks! The bees are back, the hummers and all my spring summer bird and critters visitors! happy sigh.....the windows are open to ALL the lovely music as well as pollen but I can tolerate the pollen ANY DAY for this kind of musical treat!
Happy spring has finally sprung for you snow women!

Dianna thanks for the nectar recipe. I ordered six of the red & yellow plastic hummer feeders from Amazon today. Great price 2 for $8 and with Prime free shipping. Four for me and two for sisters or just to have on hand if I need them. Saw beautiful glass feeders but way out of my budget.

Finished my garden flag. A honey bear with a bee skep is the theme of the fabric. Digging around in my closet for the other two Jubilee garden flags I found the mini-aprons on garden stakes that I made last year to go in the ferns. Didn't do ferns this year so will have to find another place for the four mini-aprons.

The mini garden flag I made for container garden is holding up even with all the wind we have been having. The wee bee skep is a little worse for wear because of rain but it has held together and has taken on weathered look that I find charming.

Hummingbird feeders came today and they are all washed and ready for sugar water as soon as it cools a bit. I haven't seen any hummers around here but my sister saw her first one today. She lives 30 miles east of me.

I am back home and ready to get to work on my flag and things. Got my honey pot out. When I was shopping and found that I found the cutest napkin holder. It is a wire garden fence on both sides. Love it. Haven't seen any hummers here yet. A bit early for them. But the bluebirds are back and we have a pair nesting in the bluebird house JT built and hung outside the kitchen window. Enjoyed watching them for a while yesterday. Can't wait till the babies come along. Looking forward to Jubilee!

My sister and I were sitting on the carport a little after three and a hummer came to the feeder I hung on one of the posts. I guess I got the feeders out just in time.

This morning I was sitting on the front porch (one of those days where I sit here and I sit there all day long)and I saw a pair of brown thrashers on my neighbor's wood privacy fence. Been a good day here in the gardens of Little Eden (my name for my home/gardens).

I put mine out yesterday. A hummer stopped by the day before and kinda of gave me a "where is the feeder?" look. I had to put it out. LOL!

Look at today's Daily Deal from Missouri Star Quilt Company. You need to add $5 for shipping, but aren't those fabrics so perfect for the theme?
