Well Diana, the answer is yes and no. If my greenhouse hadn't gotten so damaged in our last windstorm I would be starting tomatoes followed by other veggies on heated trays in it. But there is a lot of clearing up of my raised beds as well as repairs to the greenhouse that I could/should be doing. It is a bit cool and wet to start anything outdoors quite yet. I want to build a few more beds this year and start a dye garden. So I've lots to do and thankfully our weather is supposed to be quite nice for the next week or so.

Found some older fabric on Ebay. Always check there first for old stuff. Didn't like anything new. I'll keep you all posted and post pictures when the banner is done. I also took advantage of the new offer from MJF for the harvest apron, and sent for it. Will use the vintage seed packets fabric, # 2 for the apron. Love this whole idea.
I feel lucky we have lots of bees. Neighbors used pesticides.

Dianna,, heeheehee,,, I think truth be known,, we 'farm girls' luv sneaking into our hubs tool boxes to play... I actually have my own,, and darned in hubby doesn't hit mine to 'borrow' stuff rather then go out into the garage and get his... but some how,, mine have ended up out in his tool box. loo! oh well...

When I had my small Lavender field up here,,, I had mason bees, honies and bumblies as well as other lil bee type critters... ironically just about 2 miles down the road is the town of Airway Heights and they have a "NO Beehives" in city limits ordinance... how dumb is that,, in a lil town of 5000 people, surrounded by farmland. Thank goodness I was 2mi out of City limits..
Now I live just down the road from my old house and can have all the mason, honies, bumblies etc I want... and I plan to bring them over here... and will be incorporating hives...

"Sew" glad it arrived.....
I have been doing some more 'tidy-ing' up in my sewing room...
the extra ticking and MJF Panal is sitting on the ironing board waiting to be pressed and stitched up.
it rained today...no more snow... just slushy puddles! if I were a duck... I'd be quacking myself up splashing in the puddles! Lol!

Thanks to Linda O I have a new apron to hang by my front door for MaryJane's birthday and our 2018 Jubilee. It's yellow with honey bees. Love it! It will be my spring and summer canning apron. FarmGirl friends are the best.
