I received squares from Jana today! Thank you for the blue on blue and white on light teal/mint! Both very pretty. I hope I can mail mine in the next two days. May get to stay home. sigh.

Marilyn you will never guess what came today. Your fabrics with a note "Another set of fabrics" plus the ones you sent about a month ago. Amazing they both came the same day. Thank you for sending another set. Sorry you had to do that.
I also got fabric from Mary and Jana. Thank you ladies. Love the fabrics.

I haven't forgotten! I really am cutting fabrics today. Spent the last 2 days on my back with fibro. (such a small thing compared to the fires, floods, hurricanes:( ) Back on my feet. I have a 5 gal. bucket of green beans to can. But we all know these polka dots will come first! Onward and Upward!

FYI: I just wanted to let everyone know - my PO said yesterday that they will no longer accept the square envelopes from me without the extra 21 or 23 cents (I can't remember), because they are off-size.
I will post the stripes swap today. Can't wait to see them.

Today I received Mary's polka dots. Different and very pretty! Thank you, Mary! Finally, mine are cut and ready to stuff. They will go out in tomorrow's mail. Yay!

Cristy, last year I drew off five Sunbonnet Sues and three Overall Bills or Bob's or ??? Then I added a place for the kids to print their names. I also drew off Sues for the teacher and myself. We colored them with crayons, heat set them with an iron, sashed them together, etc. It made a cute class quilt that each child took home for a week. They brought it back complete with a story and photo. Then it was used in a fundraiser for new Learning games, puzzles, etc.for the class. A young man we had never seen won it. After photos, congrats, etc., he gave it to his nephew...one of our students. One very happy little boy!!! So even five year olds fall in love with Sue and Bill or Bob.

I received the squares from Judith today too. Love them and the wonderful read. Marilyn what a terrific quilt you did...and with 5 year olds! I did a quilting class with 5th graders and I I was so excited when there were projects...actually completed!
