That's what I thought, too. And the polka dot 10" squares could easily be cut into 5" squares and sewn into the 4-patch blocks and then add a focal or themed fabric trimmed to 9-1/2".

This would be a great pattern for you, Katie. Very easy. Do you have a fabric you can use for the solid-piece squares?

My filled envelopes went into the Post Office yesterday. I received two pretty pink polka dot fabric squares from Marilyn. And I received the gray/white and teal/white fabrics from Cristy. Love them!

Linda, I believe I do. I have quite a stash, you'd think I was an avid quilter. I've won some things over the years on shop hops, when I used to go on them, and collected others.

You will love this swap, Katie. I sent my squares out this afternoon.
One thing - FYI - my PO person said that the square envelope like I used was not a standard size and could require an additional stamp. I've sent them out before with one stamp with no problems.

We are just home tonight and tomorrow for a little break from vacation. Then off again Sunday and Monday...and, home again Tuesday for a couple of weeks! Thank heaven! I just have to catch up!
