What is it about rainy weather that causes one to done their apron and go bake cookies???
It started raining awhile ago and I for some crazy reason went into 'suzie homemaker' mode! lol!
Yep, baked a small batch of peanut butter cookies, a small batch of PB w/chocolate chips cookies and I just finished up making a batch of Marnaria sauce with sausage, bell peppers, onions and olives....
We are going to feast tonite!
Now to take my apron off and go play in my sewing room! lol!

Your dinner sounds better then mine and cookies too...I will be right over. Teehee! I agree with you about cold wet weather it brings the best out of me too! Funny thing is...I don't own an apron, never have, but it is on my sewing to-do-list projects as I want to feel the part! We are expecting rain tomorrow through Tuesday here in So Cal, how about you Grace, what part of the state do you live in No Cal, Central or So Cal?

I am in the Los Angeles area of the state and on my way home from work yesterday we had a few drops but more is expected today through Tuesday. The local news is calling it the three punch, meaning three storms in a row. I sure hope we get some much needed rain. It looks like the storm clouds by you is more dense, so batten down the hatches.

Yea, I don't know about that rain thing, but that and a snow storm can put you in the kitchen.

We have rain here in Utah and I made blueberry muffins this morning! I am actually eating one now as I type!! Rain and baking definitely go together! Those peanut butter cookies are calling my name. Looks like I will be making some of them today!
