Yesterday we had quite the storm roll in across the state. We had 2 tornadoes touch down in two different parts of Utah. One touched down in a city that's only 15 minutes away from where I live. The crazy part about it all, we were out and about driving in the area and missed the tornado by 5 mins. So many people have been effected by this storm and many have lost their homes due to damage. Luckily our home is still intact.
Utah doesn't get tornadoes so this is a big deal for people here. There have been many volunteers helping everyone out and getting them back on their feet!

Wow, I had not idea as there has been no news on it here is SoCal. Glad you are okay and hope the best for everyone recovering from the tornadoes.

It was wild. I work customer service in a building just a few miles north of where the tornado touched down. It was hailing so hard I had to put my customer on hold because I couldn't hear myself talk, much less her.

Some damage in Washington Terrace. No injuries that I'm aware of. Family/friends are all good! (sorry it took me so long to respond, that new job has me hopping and not spending much time on my home computer).

Krista, i am glad your safe, the weather has been wild. We had some hard wind and rain today, and up in Oregon a tornado.
Not fun out there.
Stay warm and dry and safe.

ok, so after I posted last nite... shortly after,,, rains came down in torrents and then power went out...
I went out to my trailer , which I have all loaded up for a trip I leave for this coming Thursday,,, and pulled out 3 of those tall candles in a tall jar... (I buy them at our local dollar store)... they came in handy and are safer then regular candle..
Guess the next time I am at the dollar store I will pick up some more... They do come in handy!
Happy Monday >^..^<

Wow this crazy weather sure is spreading everywhere. Glad to hear everyone is all safe and doing well.
Grace, isn't it crazy how this weather just comes out of nowhere! I like your idea of using dollar store candles. I will have to get me some next time I am there.
