Love the train case!! I have done 3 for gifts and have 2 more 'under the bed' ready to start on. All are thrift store and garage sale finds. I truly love this one you did, just beautiful!! I have a harvest gold Courier, and a tan American Tourister. They really are fun to work on.

Hi Bunny,
That jacket is absolutely stunning! BEAUTIFUL!!

As to the aprons . . I GOTTA get them sewn. I've been "playing" with my daughter on a Farmgirls on the Loose road trip AND a tent-glamping trip. This adventure is over for now. And I MUST, MUST get back to work to be ready for Farmers Market this Saturday and get those orders done. I did make progress tonight . . . got all the ties sewn up for everything that's cut out. My hubby turns the ties for me, so that'll be his job for tomorrow!

Beautiful jacket Bunny!

CJ - I've been procrastinating on my sewing for a while and really need to get back to it soon! I need to get the super hero capes done for my sons little friends birthdays coming up. My husband has been working Saturdays so I have gotten zero done on the weekend. I have a dress for my niece and 2 aprons cut out with a stack waiting to be cut.

Hi--
I finished repurposing my husband's old t-shirts into a recycled t-shirt quilt throw. It is so soft because his shirts were several years old and had been washed so much. Then out of the cut off sleeves and hem around the bottom of the t-shirt I made herb sachets.
I hope my photos post correctly and make sense to you. It was fun!

@ Bunny...love your jacket! It is gorgeous!
@ Annette...your idea for the t-shirt quilt. I have saved my daughter's old soccer tees and plan to make a quilt for her as a keepsake for the 18+ years she played soccer.

Bunny.... WOW love your jacket! Annette..... your t-shirt quilt idea is great!

I just finished a "Girly Tool Belt" for my sister's birthday. Will try to get it downloaded tonight to share. Want to make a little one just like it for her Great Granddaughter.

So many things on the list of "to get done" I can't list them all. Almost finished with another pair of hand knitted socks.

Hugs

Theresa

Sabrina--A memory t-shirt quilt is so fun. I made one for my daughter from her soriety t-shirts back in early 2000 or so. I have posted three photos for you to enjoy. Thanks sisters!

Bunny, your jacket is gorgeous. Do you have a base that you start from to make the jacket or is it from a pattern? Your combination of fabrics goes together really well.

Thanks for the kind comments about my jacket. Betty, I used a pattern from "my Favorite Things" called " Frayed Jacket" I sewed different pieces of fabric together, quilted it and then sewed it together. I also made it reversible.

Annette love your quilt! I love that you found something cute to use up the sleeves.

I love all your projects ladies! Neat idea for the t-shirts.

I'm working on items for the Farmer's Market and finished up some other crafts (on my blogpost today)

We are slowly switching over our patchwork "store" to match the name of our farm. I had several cereal box notebooks to make, and the rest of the items are on my Pioneer Woman At Heart blog today.
