I am really quite proud of myself for completing a project on Saturday with my sewing group. I am such a novice but it took me about 3 1/2 hours to do this. One of the other gals in the group designed this shopping bag and provided the material. I just had to sew it up.

I love that clothespin hanger, adorable. I also love your bag kristen, so cute.
I have been working on costumes nonstop it feels like. Two days until our convention, and only two days left for my wig to show up. AHHHHHH!
I will get a picture on here of us when we are all dressed up.

Thought I'd share a couple pics of my aprons at Farmers Market. This rack has some of my "retro" styles on it and to the left on the manniquin is one of my "flounce" styles. Along the upper edge of the canopy are my "regular" styles. I also have childrens, some suitable for guys, clothespin bags, papercraft items and "dressed-up" hangers. On the back table my hubby has his hand-forged knives and some small woodturnings.
This is one of the ones I just finished . . and sold . . that is made from two different vintage feedsacks. I wanted to get a pic of this one before it left my hands as it is one of a kind. In the picture above, the one just to the right of the blue "pony" print with red bandana trim pieces is also made from vintage feedsacks . . . also sold.
We managed to find hangers that are "full-body" hangers with a detachable part that gives the garment a bustline.
Thanks for letting me share! CJ

Sharon, I love the clothespin bag. What a great idea. What a cute dress that must have been.
Kristen, You did a good job on that tote bag. Good choice of fabrics. My ASG group is making a very similar bag for the library we have our meeting in. That extra fabric on the bottom makes the totes look so much better.
You both did great jobs.

CeeJay I so love your cowboy print apron with the bandana trim, that is just my style,I love all your aprons, they are beautiful! Those hangers really do show them off too, makes for a very attractive display and I'm sure helps your sales. I finally finished the "Wreath of Roses" doily I started a few months ago,I had gotten kind of tired of it and put it away for awhile to work on other projects but I picked it up when I was feeling kind of blah and then worked on it obsessively until I got it all done,it turned out alright I think,so I got it done and then immediately started on another Irish crochet doily which i've got near halfway through. I'm getting big pregnant so haven't had alot of energy or at least that's my excuse to ignore some chores and sit and crochet doilies non-stop,my Husband said he doesn't mind, says it keeps me from getting "too emotional",silly man. Anyways, the "Wreath of Roses" doily was designed by Kathryn White and the white one (not finished yet) is called the "Blue Rose" doily designed by Roseanne Kropp (I'm making it in white of course) and it's available free on Ravelry.com if any of you gals want the pattern.

Love the Doilies Kathryn. The aprons are too cute too, too bad I don't live close enough to stop and buy one. Oh well, I need to make my own anyway. I made watermelon jelly today. First time and it's not quite cool enough to spread on bread yet. I will test it out later. AND, still working on the christening gown that's forever big. Warning!!! If you attempt the Irish Lace Christening Gown from Annie Potter originals, watch out....the yardage is incorrect and the instructions leave some room for doubts. But, I am almost done and won't turn back now. I will get pics as soon as I get it off the hook.
