I'm actually writing for the first time in years. I still have spinning and sewing to do, but I get inspired so rarely to write that I decided I should run with it!

Love everyones...Craftiness! Sooooo many cool things!.

CJ...I was most impressed with the Frame you made for your ATC's. I am
going to keep that in mind for Post Cards, Cards, Mail-Art and even Jewelry.
You got my creative juices flowing on that one girl.

Peggy

Peggy,
I'm thinking about making another display frame for Mail Art too . . . I'd probably configure the wire (or whatever I use) wider since Mail Art pieces are usually larger than an ATC. I was going to use ribbon but decided on wire because it's less apt to sag or stretch.
Thanks for your compliments!

I just completed a Valentine pin keep. I get so many inspirations from here and also Pinterest and decided to make a felt pin keep. Lots of embroidery and embellishments. Was fun making it :) Now I want to make a whole bowl full LOL.

Lisa and Cheryl...you go girls! Fabulous work. The things I am working
on currently are for MJF Swaps so I can't show them off or I ruin the
surprise for others. Having fun though.

Everyone on here are so Inspiring!!! It is just fun to come check out as
often as possible.

CJ...I thought the same thing on the placement of the wire for Mail-Art
and also for regular size cards. Maybe we should skip the frames and just
run wire from floor to ceiling on wall of our homes. Ha Ha!

Hugs,
peg

I am working hard to finish several Church Lady aprons. I love how it drapes across the knees. So pretty. It reminds me of my Grandma. I never tire of seeing someone wearing this apron pattern.

I also finished a quilling project that involved a 1924 vintage Valentine that belonged to my Grandmother. I quilled the top two corners to match the Valentine.

Heidi, I was just in Tehachapi a few days ago and am now at home in Washington State. Tehachapi is beautiful and my son and I had lunch at the Apple Shed. Delicious! The windmills were amazing to see. Now that I am home, I have to start getting creative again. Have several UFO's to finish and then on to new and more exciting quilts.

ATTN Quilters: Need a little input here. I've only made two quilts. The first one, when I got the top pieced, I sandwiched with batting and backing and did huge running stitches radiating from center to hold it together so I could machine quilt it. It worked OK but I had some puckers in my finished quilt. The second one I used some "fusable" batting that had been in my mom's closet for about a hundred years. It didn't work at all. The tractor quilt, (closeup pic attached) had a lot of shifting and bunching and I am pretty bummed. It's a kids quilt and I'll let it be, but I sure don't want this happening again. In your esteemed opinions, what is the best way to keep it all tight and flat while machine quilting? Thanks for your input!
Susan
