Love the stained glass panels! The carving is lovely - and is that an original or reproduction stove in the background?
I've finished the top of a baby quilt for my niece's third child (I'll make pillows for the older ones).

Vanessa, Love the quilt. I am sure she will love it.

Yes the stove in the background is an original. We do not have it hooked up as we do not have gas. But someday!

As for me,,, I spend more time running around in circles then crafting...

Here is what I managed to start... among other UFO's..lol!

started it last week...

got a little further last night.
I found 4 skeins of worsted wool at the Thrift for just a mere $1.99,, I just couldn't resist.
The wool is sort of knubbie at some lengths while smooth at other areas so it gives an interesting texture, yet still soft.
I love the ombre' colors.
Maybe I will get some more done tonight.. I hope... lol!
and...maybe I will have this scarf finished just in time for Winter. haha

Grace, How are those in comparison to the store bought sheets? I'm not much of a crocheter but I think I've seen instructions for knitting them. Just was wondering how well they work.

Theresa, the 1st time I crochted one I did a double crochet and it was to loosey goosey... so this time I did it as a simple single crochet.. much better.
I folded over the edges and stitched in place, except for one corner which I didn't sew together, this way it's easier to take off and put on.
I crochet my wash cloths in single crochet as well,,

So I wet & wring out the 'mop' cloth,, and so far so good. I suspect as they get older they will wear down.

Still working on things for our Rendezvous shop. The dress pattern is based on a Pre-1840 Arapahoe dress. It's a size 12 childrens. I also made the blue bloomers for my granddaughter to wear.

I have to say that I was working on another ribbon dress last night. It has a lot more ribbon on it. There is some on the sleeves and on the hem. I got the ribbon all done. Then I noticed that I had sewn it onto the wrong side of the material. I swear it was like picking every stitch out with my nose!

Heck, I would have just sewn more on the right side and left the inside ribbon there. It saves time and frustration. When taking out a long line of closely sewn stitches, I would place the garment between my knees and the ribbon in my left hand stretching it slightly so that the stitches are exposed and hold a rotary cutter against the stitches. ZIP! It's done.

Marie....Thankfully, I had sewn the ribbon on with zigzag, so it came off pretty easily. If I hadn't been making it to sell, I would have just flipped it over too. Either way it's done and I am very happy!

Everyone's projects are looking great! I have missed keeping up with them these past couple of weeks! I have only been able to work on one thing since Everleigh wad born. She has the smallest feet and no shoes fit her. So I decided I would crochet her a pair of flip flops. I decided I need to make her a pair in pink now.

For ripping out stitches you can use an older-style man's electric razor. I've got one of Ed's that works well. Can't have the rounded top. You hold it like Marie does and use the razor instead of the rotary blade. Here is a picture of mine -

Grace, I like that idea. It would be nice to have some of them on hand for unexpected company or events. Especially around holidays.
