This set of blocks will be for Easter, summer, and an owl for the baby girl. The next set of blocks are for Christmas time. I decided to go in order of when they would be used this year! I did some hot gluing on the wood this morning and need to take them outside to be sprayed. Getting close to finishing.

Ruthie Ann, I love playing with my cricut. What are you making?

Love the projects you made, Krista!

I've been using my Cricut Explore a lot more lately. I'm getting pretty good at using the software. And at uploading SVG or other simple images as needed for projects.

Made another card last night:

I'll be switching efforts over to a big happy birthday sign and other food label signs for DS's birthday party early Feb. The Cricut is invaluable for things like that!

Krista, love the blocks. They are coming out so nice!

I upgraded from an old Cricut Expression to the new Cricut Maker. I got the Maker this Christmas, and I have to admit that I am a little intimidated by it. I'm sure I will get it, I just have to practice. The software seems easy enough. I will post a pic when I finally get something done on it.

hugs,
Marcy

Today or tomorrow I need to start putting together my Farmgirl binder (updating and making it pretty), get my swaps together, work on putting together a household binder, and put together my list of UFOs for the UFO thread. I am currently working on crochet projects for the monthly crochet challenge.

I finally finished my block sets. They were all on my UFO list. Now I need to pick something else off my list to work on this weekend.

Krista - Those projects turned out AWESOME!!! SO very well done!

We had guests on Saturday so I didn't get a lot of crafting done this weekend.

Did craftermatch control upstairs and have everything nice and clean and calm and cleared again so it is ready for the next wave of MESS :)

Also made two simple birthday cards for guys using the Cricut:

Kem, good luck with organizing your craft room. That is one of the biggest challenges for me.

Ruthie Ann, you have been busy. Would love to see what you make.

Jamie, you make me laugh, but that is so true. We clean up our messes to turn around and make a mess of it again! Love the cone card! So cute!

I love everyone's work! The cards are so clever and the baby blanket is precious. My cuddling with the dogs quilt needed a new backing, so I bought some turquoise material and added more batting to make it warmer. The front is pieced from upholstery samples that were in a sample book. Now I'm ready for the next Arctic wave!

Krista - Love the blanket! Looks so cozy!

Audra Rose - GREAT job! And so clever to use up those samples in this way!

I finished a Mother's Day card last night:

I admire all of you who can make cards!!! My mom makes beautiful cards and has tried taking me to card classes and I'm just not visual enough, I guess. If it's all ready for me to glue together, I'm good. Otherwise....not so much!
The quilt is great, Vanessa!
Krista, the colors are beautiful! It looks so cozy! I love classic granny squares.

I agree Debbie! I wish I had the creativity to make cards. Everyone's cards are so pretty. I wouldn't even know where to start with making my own.

Vanessa, the turquoise looks great with the front. I have always been drawn to blues and purples like that.

I dug out my oldest blanket and decided to start working on it. Now I remember why I put it away in the first place. It's not my favorite pattern, but I still want to finish it.

I made my list of things I need from the craft store in order to finish more projects. Once my little guys are up from nap we will go get them. Hopefully this weekend I can get some more crafting done.

Well I am joining in late but better late than never!! Krista , I am so in love with your spring blocks!! i bet your home is so bright and cheery right now! Loving the crocheted blanket too! So much talent here!
Jaime I LOVE the cards!!! I make cards too but I use my photography art to make mine! :) SO fun!
Ohhh Vanessa! One of my top 3 favorite colors! Looks wonderful! This has been an unusually cold winter here in this part of Alabama but I am SO THANKFUL!!! The pest control from last year for my garden and pets was almost intolerable! This year should be great! I am hoping anyway! :)

I agree Denise. That's why I'm so grateful and taking advantage of my "down time" right now. I have so much I would like to get down before the baby comes, so I am crafting away. I hope you get some time to craft soon.

Sabrina that granny square is so pretty. Looks very Valentines like.

Over the weekend I went and bought some ribbon and yarn that I have been needing for projects. I finished my letter D with the ribbon and have started crocheting some hot pads with my yarn.
