Thanks everyone. My excitement just keeps growing the closer I get to finishing!

Ruthie that is so sweet of you. I use to work in an oncology office and when people would make cancer patients gifts like that, they were over the moon with excitement and gratitude. You will definitely make someone's day.

I have been making these for my team at work. Easy pattern, hard decision on who gets what color. I also have two fellas in my team. R is a youngin of 32. I didn't think he and G who is a more mature gent who styles himself like Johnny Cash would like lacy texting gloves. I made them each an ear warmer. They can wear them as neck warmers if they choose.

The gloves on the far right are hunter green as one of the ear warmers.

Oh I will Debbie! I have actually started sewing it together now. Just a couple more rows and then the boarder. I have been staying up late in order to get in done in time.

Well I passed out the gloves and ear warmers today. Got a wonderful reception from my team mates. Including our young buck and Johnny Cash. He loved that I made his ear warmer in black. He says he rides so black was a good choice.

Its not that it is so cold here in S.C. (81 outside right now) we are cold because THE MAN won't run the heat in winter or the AC in summer :(

I have several guest towels with cross stitch inserts. I am interested in making doggie towels for bazaars. This was my first one.

I have not been able to get in my craft room the last few days. As I am getting ready to leave for the holidays and will be returning on Christmas Eve late so I am baking wrapping presents and cleaning before we go. I miss my craft room.

Ruthie,, I so know how you fell,,, I was going through Craft Room Withdrawals.. but today I got yo steal a few hours for myself,, and finished the chef apron for my grandson..

it's hard to see,, but I machine embroidered his name on the bib part of the apron,,, Oh, and did I mention,, the apron was formally a pillow case...
