                      | This is a Wall Hanging that my husband and I made for my grandparent's anniversary. My Hubbie is a carpenter and he made the window frame. I did all of the embroidery and the most recent picture of them is from our wedding last year. What do you get a couple that has been married for 60 years? I think this gift was a big hit! Love them dearly!

                      | I needed a quick "Thanks' gift for a fellowette glamping gal~pal... so here it is...
I bought a faux silver platter at the "Dollar Tree" (dollar type store)
using my cricket cutter I cut out adhesive letters and numbers... then applied them to the platter, primed and painted it... peeled off the letters/numbers and then drilled 2 holes to attach the beads and chain... last I deco'd a piece of junk jewelery and glued on a a magnet...cute note holder....
Hmmm, maybe I need to make these for Christmas gifts...

                      | What wonderful ornaments! That gingerbread house must have taken quite a while. Such detail! Brought hubby home yesterday from his knee replacement. So haven't had much of a chance to do much. Working on a coin purse for our granddaughter. She'll be 16 on the 20th! The coin purse will hold some cash. At that age I figured that's the safest gift to give! LOL

                      | I think that they were either in a MaryJane's Magazine or one of the others I get. You peel the apple, gouge out eyes, nose, and mouth, poke rice in the mouth for teeth, and this year I pooched in allspice for the eyes. Stick them on a skewer or pencil and stand them up to let the air dry them.
These apples are very juicy, and they are still squishy. Hopefully they will be dry by Halloween.

                      | I am working on finding some time to spend sewing..... I have been too busy with work (this always gets in the way), and other things to interfere, but I really need to clean and do something I really want to do and not get sucked into other less enjoyable things. :)

                      | Cute note holder, Kat. But I'm confused some days it doesn't tske much) - - how do the notes get attached? Do you stick them under the magnet?
No stitching today. Ed, me, and my home-schooled twin grandsons (their mother is in Savannah with the Red Cross helping out with assessing storm damage) are going to pick up an older Airstream trailer for a friend. Depending on its condition and size, I MAY buy it from him for myself. Except - do I really need it? Ed just bought us a 34' motorhome. LOL! If it a larger Airstream, Ed's DIL has been wanting one, so maybe they will get it.

                      | Love all the pictures! The wall hanging is just too special for words!
I've made some good progress on the felt tissue box cover that looks like a school bus. All the pieces for the main body are cut, the wheels are all sewn and stuffed and I've started sewing pieces onto the body. This is going to be a fun project! :)

                      | I love everyone's recent projects. You all seem to be staying busy. I have taken a slight break from my projects to catch up on other things in my life. Hoping to complete some more things this coming weekend.
Audra, that is super cool. Now that you said that I do recall seeing them in the magazine or here sometime before. My mind seems to slip away sometimes!

                      | No sewing for me today. I'm rearranging my studio in a frantic attempt to make room for a brand new Bernina Longarm machine. This means that the piano and computer desk are getting new homes with other family members. The room is being flipped from one end to the other and the rest is being purged. 12 feet with room to walk all the way around is challenging to find!

                      | How exciting Jan, a new Bernina Longarm! What's your first project going to be? I've been drooling over Brother embroider machines. Hopefully by next month sometime I'll have one. Still staying home with hubby. He's in a lot of pain due to his knee reconstruction. Feel bad for him. I've been trying not to "hover" over him, so I finished our granddaughter's coin purse. And made a Portacath pillow I found on Pinterest. I hope to make a few and donate them to our church for baskets we make for people in need.
Sorry these are so big. Don't know how to size them. :(

Nice job, Grace! That red is a really nice color and pattern. It would be fun to make an apron from a yard of fabric.

                      | Grace what a cute apron! I had to do some research myself. A portacath is a port they put in people, usually cancer patients. The problem is seat belts rub on them because they are located just below the shoulder. The pillow is to keep it from rubbing. I love to fine things I can make from my scraps!! :)

                      | Luv the boot bracelets, Grace. When it comes to creating you have to flow with the moment don't you think. Another day will be the time for sewing.
Today I made dividers for the 2017 MJF planner to use for keeping track of what I am doing in my kitchen.

While watching vintage horror movies from the 1930-40s on TCM I'll embroider on orange work tea towel.

                      | Darlene... I don't wear them as much as I use to back when I lived in Washington... and I luv my Luechase boots (w/white stars)... but after having foot surgery my left foot hurts when I wear them... but my Justin's I can still wear and I have 2-go-to pairs for working around the property and for riding.... But it's always fun to bling up my boots when I wear them around town... like today... we are going to the Tarantula fest here in our lil community...

Sara... we are hooked on the "FETV"... family entertainment channel... we get a kick outta watching the old Roy Rogers shows as well as the Lone Ranger....
what can I say... hubby and I are just kid's in old folks bodies!!! LOL!!!

                      | Speaking of Roy Rogers, Ed and I are going to a Halloween party tonight as Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. LOL!
Thursday I finished the top of a quilt made from polka dot house blocks I received in a swap. I love it. Can't wait to take it to the long-arm quilter. The borders are 12" wide to make it hang over the mattress like I like. The border fabric has red, yellow, orange, blue, and green polka dots n the grey and all the houses are polka dots. I think the black frames make the blocks pop. The picture is showing the quilt sideways so it didn't drag on the floor. That's me on the left of the picture.

                      | Linda, this morning on Fons & Porter quilting show on PBS they worked with a long-arm quilter. Now I know what you and the other quilters are talking about.
 Beautiful quilt!
