Marcy - it's just barely begun, but I'll share when I finish it. Sometime in November, probably. LOL I love cross-stitching, I've done some fun pieces.

Spent this week helping my daughter paint her son's bedroom and today we put together his big boy bed

I think he likes it!

A cover for a piece of medical equipment. Bought the fabric Sunday. I don't even know what the equipment is, just about what size to make it. LOL! I love mystery projects.

Jan - What kind of swap is your barn art for? Sounds like the center of a round robin.

Today I'm cheating a little and going to a pottery painting place. My friend is getting married in a few weeks and she bought her house with her fiancee right after they met. So I'm going to paint a plate with a picture of their house and along the border write "The [lastname]s, EST. 2016". They're hoping to upgrade soon and I think it would be cute to have a little memento of their first place they had together when they got married. Also she likes to entertain a lot and has a good variety of unique dishes, so I think it will get some actual use!

I saw this mold in the baking department and I knew I had to make some soap with it!

I had a garden theme in mind, they are insects after all. So I used a forest green dye along with some sparkling glitter and a new scent that I just bought called Butterfly Orchard, I think they came out so cute and they smell amazing.

I also came across this quilt that I had been working on. I tucked it away and kind of forgot about it. It is hand appliqued, hand pieced and will be hand quilted. I wanted a country sort of look for it and I think I got it. Now I just have to finish it!

hugs,
Marcy

Marcy I LOVE those bee soaps!!

Today I will be shopping in preparation for tomorrow, my friend's bachelorette party is on Saturday and tomorrow I need to make my famous spinach dip. This is the recipe I use (although I unfortunately can't take credit for writing it):

Today I finished a simple purse for one of Ed's sisters. There was a pair of jeans she said was her favorite and they no longer fit. I said I'd make a purse out of them.
