Today I finished making 36 house blocks for a swap. Houses in polka dots. Should be a cute quilt.

Also mending pockets on my boyfriend's surgical scrubs.

What a cute and Sweet idea Vanessa! I have 3 female long haired Doxies, sure wish they would wear those collars. But, other than their harnesses when we walk them they want nothing around their necks.

Cute doggie collars, Vanessa! My dog probably would wear one as she will wear a bandana. She wears a regular cog collar all day but I take it off of her at night (We decided she didn't need it in the house and if she shakes it rattles and is noisy in the night!)

I've been embroidering tea towels. Today I hope to finish one with a mason jar and fire-flies / lightening-bugs. I remember catching them and putting them into mason jars. It's fun to embroider a memory.

Oh, Sara...I know you don't post pics...but, I sure wish I could see your fireflies in a jar done up. From memory yet!

Tonight, being cold and blustery evening, I'm working on hand stitching the binding on a quilt I recently finished machine quilting! Another UFO will soon bite the dust! lol

And ... enjoying working on a hot tea! Cheers!

Today I finished embroidering the Jubilee 2016 block for my temperature quilt wall hanging. I used black thread on an over all small yellow/white print.

Today I finished cutting out two egg gathering aprons for the Jubilee. The apron with small pockets is for me and the one with large pocket is for my sister who has over fifty chickens. One bantam mama hatched eight babies this week. Betty will need the big pocket & two side pockets when she gathers eggs.

Nice, Sara. You may finish yours before I do. LOL!
I'm making one out of sunflower fabric and a polka dot ruffle. I got both pieces of fabric at a thrift shop.

Thanks CeeJay and Linda. I am making both aprons out of MJF's Once Upon a Chicken and Milk Cow Kitchen fabrics. When they're finished I may get one of my nieces to post a picture. Not promising just saying.

Sara, your aprons are going to be awesome! Wow, your sister is going to love the roomy pockets with her brood. If your niece can post for you, that would be fun. If not, you can tell us how excited your sister was to wear her new apron. Stories are just as good as photos!! I love your fabric choices too:D

I just finished cross stitching this alphabet. I'm going to turn it into a pillow when I find a form and fabric to match it.

I am going to start working on this, this afternoon. I love Victorian anything and so this pattern is perfect for me.

Natalie,

I bet that is coming out beautiful! That is my most favorite painting of all time. I don't know too many people who cross stitch anymore. I would love to see a picture of it when it's done.

hugs,
Marcy

Crocheting up a dish cloth, it's been a while since I've made one so I'm doing a little quick start to make sure the gauge is right before I take my yarn and hooks on vacation. I'll also be starting a filet crochet project for my boyfriend's parents for Christmas in the next few days. Never too early to start on Christmas presents!
