I've been in the mood for Spring so I've been working on a pansy doily and took a break from that to crochet some of these little pansy tealight holders, they're crocheted in size 10 thread and hold an LED tealight.
I now have a set of three done in purple, pink and yellow.
Marlyn,I love the bonnet, that is very fine work!

Hi everyone. It's been a long while since I've been able to log on and you all have inspired me to get busy crating again. Thank you.

Couldn't sleep tonight so thougth it would be a good time to reconnect. So glad I did. Maybe this was the reason I couldn't sleep... needed to be inspired ;-)

My darling daughter tatted the blue intertwined rings, then I stitched them onto a piece of aida cloth, edged it, and voila! A new bookmark!

HI girls, today I finished a pillow and I made an apron for a friends birthday. I monogramed the pillow with her last name letter. She likes aprons and I made her one for Christmas and she likes it so much she wanted another. The Pillow is made of ultra swede in a light tan color. They both turned out good. I'LL have to get some one to show me how to put my pics on the computer. That it for a rainy dreary Saturday in Virginia. Farm sister #1020 Juanita

Today I worked on a fancy work half apron from MaryJane's Stitching Room. I have a couple more steps to go then I'll submit it for the apron merit badge. I pulled a cute combination of fabrics from a stash that I got through our county's Freecycle.org, so my only cost was in enlarging the pattern at the copy store!

Here's a picture of my fabric and supplies before I got started:

I'll post a pic of the finished product too.

Some final projects in our glamper trailer, the "Reiver's Rest". On Friday I installed this decorative tile backsplash . . . really makes it look "classier".

Alicia, I forgot to tell you how much I admire those mugrugs! Can't wait to figure out how to embroider on my machine. That is the reason I got it. I'm still just mastering normal stitching. sigh.

Hi C.J, the glamper is looking great. I love what you have done to the back splash, every thing looks good.

forgetmenot, I have been working on Birthday Presents the past few weeks. I have made some aprons for my friends and I want to make a table runner for my best friend. Hope I can get them done in time. We have had a really busy week, this past one, with dr appointments for my husband and trying to work too. Any way as they say "it will all come out in the wash" Juanita

Help me please. I bought a 1950s metal church ice tea/water container with spigot. It probably holds about 3/4 gallon of liquid. It is all there, except the handle is missing on the lid. The lid is about 10-12 inches across. It has two holes on the top for a handle to be screwed on. Please give me some creative ideas what to put on as a handle. I am going to put this in the camper and fill it with water outside the camper for people to wash their hands instead of always going in the camper and using the sinks. This will really be handy for the grandkids. I would like it a bit funky or use a repurposed item.

Just finished my dear granddaughter's Easter dress and a doily for her nightstand. Don't know how she will feel about the doily as she is only 5 years old, but it is in her favorite colors.
