Oh,I wasn't sure what the cupcakes were either, they're very cute!
I've not been doing much today yet with my crafts,I'm a little burned out on the crochet and don't know if I can concentrate much because my OB is getting worried about my baby's breech presentation and said in the next few weeks I need to start thinking about whether we should try doing a manual version to move baby to avoid a c-section or skip that because of the risks (stressing the baby and having to deliver prematurely) and plan on a c-section.
So anyways, got that on my mind so think I may work on some embroidery or something that doesn't require too much concentration because I just don't have it to give to a project right now!
I hope all you ladies are enjoying your day and your crafts!

I didn't forget...things got crazy here. I'll e-mail you the pattern soon. Sorry for the delay.

Kristina...I love your dishcloths...especially the flowered ones. Would you mind sharing
your pattern???? Just email me if you would. I think your keepsake book of your daughters
notes to you will be a treasure for years to come. Great Idea. I did something similar for
my youngest son. All my boys use to write me cute little notes...but the youngest also did
"Pew Art"...which is exactly what it sounds like. He would do these fabulous little doodles
while listening to sermons and they were always religious in nature. I saved them all...and
then when he graduated HS...we made a Special Scrapbook for him, with letters and well wishes
from family and friends, Graduation Cards and Pics of His friends and all his notes to us
and his "Pew Art". It turned out really cool and something he can look back on for years to come.

I'm finishing this scarf today. The last Farmer's Market day is tomorrow.

Sorry for the bad photo. Fall days here are darker, and rain is in the forecast.

More photos of more scarves on my blog today.

Such lovely things you gals are making. So much talent. I have been knitting mittens for a craft show in November. I am not that excited about making them, but I need to replenish what I sold last year. Hope to post pictures soon.

This is what I finished today. Mind you, it is the top only. I took it to my quilter and she will finish it off and I will bind it.

Good morning all. Sorry I haven't been around in a while. Been busy with lots of projects. I just finished a blog post for a blog hop I am in for October 2. My blog is about using a quilting software program to make digital art. I just finished doing some cards with my efforts. Check it out.

Set 1

Set 2

I'm really having fun with this. I already have a Christmas set in the works.

First day of school today. Better be off. My first class is Algebra. I'm 55 years old.... this is stressful!

Bunny, thank you for the compliment. It is a lot of work, but one of love. My DBIL will really be pleased.

I wanted to ask you if you were using EQ (Electric Quilt)? Your designs are beautiful and what an accomplishment.

BTW, I'm making two more quilts like that one. One has a pale gold background and the other is black and purple. I will probably be tired of the pattern when I'm finished, but I will say what an accomplishment.

Betty I love your quilt,it is stunning with such vivid colors, nice work!
I spent all day yesterday cutting out a quilt kit called "Autumn bounty" by Bonnie Sullivan,it's all squirrels, gourds and oak leaves,etc..I felt like doing something more seasonal and I've had this kit for two years, about time I got serious about working it up!
Day before I worked out three redwork flour sack towels,a goat,a hen and chicks and some French style roosters,I posted them on Etsy though I have no idea if anyone ever buys embroidered dish towels, thought I would give it a shot anyways ;)
I hope all you gals are having a great day and enjoying your projects!

Betty, I did use EQ7 for my designs. I use it for all kinds of projects. I decided I would never make all the quilts I designed so went the art route. I put them for sale on my Etsy site. Hopefully they will generate a little interest.

I just moved to The Dalles a little over a year ago. I'm living with my mom after I lost my quilt shop and home in California. I have returned to college to try to put my life back together. Thankfully I have a whole basement filled with quilt shop leftovers to keep me busy for a very long time.

I love that red work. I hope to get some more time this winter to work on more items like that.

My 10 year old came home from school with orders for 4 Team Spirit scarves in school colors. I have one made, but must finish the rest this weekend. They want them to wear for the homecoming game next weekend.

This is how we displayed our scarves at Farmer's Market. I used clothespins to hang them on my tent.

The dishcloth in my hands, in that photo, is one of 6 that my Aunt ordered. I have 5 to finish, and to work on this weekend, if I get the time. Those are about 10-11 inches wide.

I am also working on a pot holder set my mother ordered for her cousin.

First, I need to run and pick up my 10 year-old that went to a sleepover last night. Then it's off to the store for a skein of yarn.

I've finished this quilt and it's off to the quilter. Will be gorgeous when bound and labeled.

Now I'm two blocks into another with a light background.

These are all "teaser" shots of aprons (my "Retro" style) I made this week . . and sold today at Farmers Market. It was a record sales day!

There are two different aprons in this pic, kinda layered with each other

These two pics are of children's aprons I made this week and sold today.

Thanks for letting me share! I have a LOT of sewing to do this week to be prepared for next weeks Market day!

I'm working on a crocheted hat. I make hats for the homeless every year. I usually bring them in a week before Thanksgiving.

CJ I love those aprons, your work and fabric choices are great, that bee apron is really cute!
Betty your quilt is stunning, something to be really proud of!
Marly that's a really sweet project you do for the homeless,at one time I was making throw blankets to send up to the Pine Ridge Reservation through a group called One Nation,I believe what Gandhi said is so true that "Poverty is the worst form of violence",I'm glad you take the time to help those who are in need,it reminds me that I should be doing more to help.
I've been working on a cream colored Irish crochet doily, same pattern I've done a couple times before,I started it the other day while waiting at the lab for a repeat three hour glucose test for gestational diabetes,I did not make it through andgot so sick but at least managed to get half the doily done before disaster struck, now I told my doctor I refuse to try again,I am tired of being treated like a lab rat.
Anyways, still need to sew on a few more rows and then the edging to the squirrel quilt and will probably do that today,I hope you ladies are enjoying your Sunday with some stitching work!

Janet, that quilt took me the better part of 3-4 months. The "arrow" blocks have 29 pieces in them and there are 30. The rest of the blocks were a breeze. Now the set-in triangles were a problem because I don't have a ruler that size, so I had to adapt. I made a pattern out of freezer paper. From then on it was a breeze.

I can't wait to get it back from the quilter and get the binding and label on it.

I finished 3 of 4 scarves, and must finish the last one today.

Then it's back to the garden (we are still getting bounty).
