Judy, good that you got your Mom to the doctor. So glad her landlord will let her out of her lease. Moving again. What a bummer. Every time I have moved I swore I wouldn't do it again. Maybe your sister will help. It doesn't hurt to ask. The two of you could gang up on mom and her new stuff. Maybe some of it could get lost on the way to the new place.

Peggy, love the cheese cake. You could put Nutella on macaroni noodles and I would eat it. I just bought a new jar today. I have been making rice crispy treats with Nutella.

Lorena, so sorry about kitty. It is always a painful experience to lose a furry friend.

Not much else going on. Work, School, Naps... lots of naps whenever I can. Fibro has been mean to me this week. Tomorrow is all day at the accounting office. I've pretty much got the hang of it now. I get a little confused with some of the documents people have for their tax returns. Everything is suppose to be put in a certain order and then scanned into the computer so the tax preparer doesn't have to shuffle through papers. Sometimes I just don't know where to put stuff. Thankfully everyone has been very helpful. I have 4 finals on Monday so this weekend will be a big study time. I'll get a week break but will probably work most of the time. I hope to get a few days of sewing in at least. I have soooo many projects in my head.

Later all! Spring will be here soon. Hang in there.

PeggyAnn,
I would put The Orchardist on your list. It is new and I think it will be something people will be talking about. It is set in the 1800's, with cowboys, Indians, horses and the train is a new thing. These two young girls have escaped a man who was exploiting them. They are both pregnant and the Orchardist helps them.
I don't read many books cover-to-cover but I liked this one.

Spring? Is there one? It was 3 degrees this morning!!!!! It will come, but it will take awhile to get to us here. Still have almost 3 feet of snow on the ground. Not warm enough to melt it.
I have been working all week, and again tomorrow and Saturday, so am pretty tired out. I am not used to so many days in a row. So for now, I will cut this short and catch up with you over the weekend.
Have a great evening,

Here is our little mommy in her 3rd trimester...I can hardly believe He will be
here in May. Do you think I am a little excited?

Well, I had Bible Study tonight....didn't feel like being there because I was having a Fibro Flare...but once I got to teaching I got my mind on God and off my pain. That is until it was all over and I tried to stand up. LOL

Bunny...I know if I am in pain your are feeling it too most likely. Not always but for the most part.

Praying for your testing on Monday.

Hope you don't have to work the whole time you are on break. You need some RnR too. But I am happy that you have a job that is actually paying you some money.

I had to laugh about your comment on putting Nutella on Macronni. Too funny!

Janet...you are just destined to have the worst winter this year. I feel badly for you. We are beginning to see flowers and trees blooming...it is so pretty...I wish everyone could enjoy what I am enjoying.
I will post some more pictures tomorrow.

Cherime...good for you getting through the Book. You must be a fast and dedicated writer.

Terri...I will for sure want to read that book. Thanks for telling me just enough to grab my attention.

Judy...sorry that your mama is having a coughing problem. Does anything help to make it subside?
Like sucking on a throat drop or hard candy or anything like that? Do sertain foods trigger it? Does she take medication that dries out her mouth?

That is exactly what you need...your sissy back to help you and mama pack. It would be good for all of you. You'd probably laugh your heads off in between each and every box.

Lorena...hope you found your diamond.

Shanda...hey girl...glad you could drop by for a little catch-us up. Sounds like you are busy enough for 3 people.
Hope everything just falls together for you...with work and your move and getting the cabin done. Whew...you are going to deserve a nice long rest once you get all that done. I'm so tired thinking about it for you...I need to go sit down. LOL

OK...off to take the dog out one more time and go crawl in bed with my book.

hugs and squishies,
peggy

Peggy, looking good there. New one to spoil shortly.
On writing, I see it all in my head, like a movie in color no less. Really makes it hard to sleep sometimes when writing in one's head. I cannot get it typed out fast enough. I have to go back and correct sections at a time in the other word processing program then copy the changes over. i am typing so fast and thinking so far ahead that I can sometimes leave words out.
Judy praying for your mom.
Lorena, blessings, I think God has a whole herd of little furry buddies of mine waiting for me.
Terri I really cannot write when GDD is down with me as she likes to talk and I am not going to tell her to be quiet. So that is when I read. I can listen to her and read at the same time. I will have to check that book out.
All, I read anything with the exception of really erotic stuff. I found a good suspense albeit bloody one, Night Blind. Had a couple of very unexpected twists to it. Could not put that one down. Be warned several murdered in it however.

Ladies need some prayer for this one. My GDD had a problem at work. A woman who was hired on 2 months prior to her was asking very personal questions after work by text message. That person took stuff from an old FB page and said that she was being threatened by my GDD and took it to work. My GDD showed them in her cell phone that she was being harassed by the other woman. Instead she got told that if it happened again that she would get a reprimand. She quit rather than get one because if they believed the other one instead of her it was a done deal no matter what. So she called the Nat. Guard and has an appointment with them. She really wants to join ans has since she came up here. So it is God's will for her let it happen. Her problem is she is 20 lbs over. She is built big however and it does not look like she is that overweight. His will be done in this and His only is the way I look at it.

Thank you all ladies. Doing ok. Fancy was buried by out grapevine yesterday. Cleaned up the litter box and food bowls today. Didn't find the diamond. You see I have no head to my bed. It's pushed against some built in bookcases to look like I have one. Where I'm a belly sleeper, my hand sometimes dangles between the mattress and the bookcase
It may have gotten caught and I may have pulled my hand out not realizing my ring was caught. That's what I think happened. It's hard to picture I know but it's the only logical reason other than alien abduction which I don't believe in.

Cherime,
Sorry about what is going on with your GDD and work. I have been in that position a couple of times and there should be someone for us lesser employees to go to. I had trouble with two managers harassing me and of course upper management takes the manager's side. UGH. I quit one job and retired from the other to get away from those two bad people.
I hope your GDD finds something she really loves. She could try temp-ing for a while.

Peg, I had to giggle too when Bunny said she'd eat Nutella on macaroni. She sounds like my Sis. She loves that stuff.
I talked to Patsy today. They are going home this weekend. She caught her FIL's cold. They are planning on coming back up at the end of April for FIL's birthday. I said,"Oh sure, come back after Mom's in her new place and the hard work is done!" LOL Story of my life!
Nothing seems to help Mama's cough. She's not on any meds except OTC Prilosec for her acid reflux which she only takes every other day.Remember the home remedy that I made that we said would take paint off the walls and you said would knock the sin right out of a feller? LOL Well, it didn't phase her! Some days she hardly coughs at all. And this all started way back in 2009 after Daddy's funeral, but was so mild for the longest time that she just didn't notice it. It was just an annoying tickle. Hopefully the breathing test she's having Monday will tell something.
Well,that's all my news.
Make it a great evening Porchies!

Girls, we need prayer here please! Dave's Mom called this evening and said his Nephew(Adam)was killed in a car/truck accident on Interstate 77. We have no details yet.

Judy...so sorry dear one. We will be praying for you, Dave and everyone. Sad, Sad, Sad!

Cherime...I was looking at Night Blind on Amazon and there are two different authors. Which one
did you read, the one by Michael W. Sherer or Jan Worth?

My son and I went around to consignment shops today looking at baby furniture type items. We found
a couple of cute things. Shane will take Sadie back tomorrow and see if she likes them.

Not much else...I just did some knitting and watched tv tonight. Relaxing day for me. But DH is still
having weird medical issues. We go see his Dr. Monday afternoon...hope to get some answers on a few
things. My husband is feeling very Mortal at the moment.

Well good night girlies...have you all in my thoughts and prayers daily.

Hugs,
peggy

To the dh whose mother is coughing alot...has she been to an ears /nose /throat Dr? She could be having sinus problems. Just a thought.

Waiting for horses to finish eating then off to my mom 's to help her finish a quilt that my late grandmother started and never finished. Have a good day all.

Terri ...the funny thing is you mentioned one for your cats. My bookcase goes all the way under the eves in my loft. I have things stored under the eves as well. My fancy used to hide in the bottom shelf cubby. You could probably make one with a tall bookcase.

Peggy, Sherer. On the surface the plot looks fairly simple and turns into a sidewinder. Praying for your DH
Lorena. Sinus problems do cause coughing. Know one for a fact. As dry as it get up here sometimes, it feels like being in the desert.
Blessings all

*sigh*...it's even worse than that...he committed suicide. I feared that might be the case. Adam had a car accident and was in a come...exactly 10 years ago yesterday. His coma lasted quite a few months, but I knew he'd pull thru. It was an accident...God was there. But this time it was planned and I fear God couldn't break thru all the demons in his head. Adam was never the same after his accident. He'd been to a lot of doctors and specialists but he couldn't focus on any one thing to hold down a job for any length of time,so he ended up on dissability. THAT is no good for a young person of 18. Because of his scrambled way of thinking,he got into trouble a few times...but couldn't understand why he was in trouble. He must have felt confused and useless, always being reprimanded,so last night he got onto 77 and went northbound in the southbound lane looking for a semi...and found one. The truck driver said cars were swerving to miss him,but once Adam spotted him,he locked onto him and and no amount of swerving could shake him. Oh girls,my heart is breaking, writing this to you and seeing the black&white and total helplessness of it. Please pray for that truck driver. To have seen it and gone thru it has to be a nightmare for him. I'm sure nobody blames him,but it will be weighing heavy on his heart. I'm hoping that God can use, even this tragedy for His good!Adam was 28!
That's all I can write right now.
Thanks for all of your Prayers and kind words!

Judy, praying for your and yours. I have been there. You always wonder if there was something you could have done. Likely not. But it does weight heavily. That is one that God absolutely has to take, it too crushing to bear.
