Heather posted a picture of two of her cows and I called them a herd so that got me thinking. Did you know a group of crows is called "a murder of crows"? I wonder who came up with that name. As a lover and writer of cozy mysteries that name seems to fit crows just fine. I may try to work that into one of my stories.

Jennifer, thanks for sharing. I would love that pantry. She has done so well at decorating it. My favorite part is the mock window. That would be my happy place.

I had to give up driving 4 years ago, so grocery delivery works for me. If it's needed, I chat with the shopper on my laptop.

Another one of those sayings that the young get generation doesn't understand, like dialing the phone and built like a brick outhouse.

I tried grocery delivery but didn't like it. The shopper was calling me every two minutes with questions. DH likes to shop so he does it now.

Judith, that's what I thought too, I would have to wait weeks for it. Now I can order my groceries the first of next week. Grocery delivery is the best thing since sliced bread. For you younger Farmgirls that's what the old folks used to say when I was growing up.

Wow -- Sara, I guess I'm out of touch, too. When that happened to me I had to wait three weeks for a new card.

The bank called yesterday to let me know my debit card had been compromised. I went to the bank today to take care of it and see about getting a new card. I am so out of touch on how things are done these days. Didn't know my new card could be printed out at the bank and I would go home with it. Seems like the world is a lot faster these days or I am getting slower; maybe it's a little of both.

Today's been a challenging day....you know the kind where family stuff can get you down? Let me just say that we're Mommas forever, it's not a temporary job and when our adult kids are having a hard time we feel it.
So I was on Pinterest trying to lift my spirits and I came across this blog site that was from several years back. I love the photos of her pantry and her message that goes along with the blog!
I thought of my Farmgirls sisters and knew you'd enjoy it too! It put a smile on my face and was a nice distraction of encouragement for a bit. Enjoy

Debbie, Thanks and lol....Okay I'll post as I go. September is a work in progress and October....well, I don't even remember what I've got for October from last year. I guess I'll have to go grab that box from storage once it cools down in a few days. We're at 105* here in California today and even hotter tomorrow. Staying inside for a while. Maybe we should start a new thread to share seasonal Tiered Trays? Can anyone start a new thread? And what category would that be best in? (newbie here still learning)

That was posted on a swap thread but I don't remember who posted it. Maybe start a new topic with that question Sheila.

Sara, I wonder the same thing about how people came up with their names and terms. And some just don’t make sense, but I like the crow one lol.

Denise, that picture is so funny!

Sheila, earlier this year Brian cleaned house and deleted a lot of the old posts. The post about hair was probably one of them. I have thinning short silver hair and use Aussie volume shampoo.

Hi I am not sure where to post this. I remember that once there was a post about women hair, like growing it long leaving it gray. if it is still out there and any one knows where could you let me know.
I have fine hair but notice that it is separating in the back, my hubby made a remark that I was going bald, I got very upset. I told my sister who is a hair stylist and she said that I have fine hair and it is because of the part I had like forever and that I sleep on my back all these years is contributing to the separation. she lives to far away to have her do anything for me. Does any one else have this problem or know what I can do about it?
