Did anyone else celebrate with an apple pie or apple dessert this weekend? I made an apple cake. It was delicious! (Kind of like a carrot cake.)

Heather, I completely forgot all about it. The month went so fast I lost track of my Sundays lol! I will have to make an apple dessert this weekend to make up for it.

This post inspired me to make a apple pie. I used Ina Garten's recipe and it was a big hit as always! Keep baking everyone!

I completely forgot about it too!! Shame on me, the writer of that Apple Festival celebration and badge!! Can I Blame it on old age of 75?? LOL! Those of you who did make some apple desserts and posted them, they all sounded delicious . Thank-you for sharing what you made and enjoyed. Apples can be turned into countless delicious desserts, salads and baked sides with many fall recipes. I think their versatility is what makes them popular and flexible to many menus and tastes .
