I enjoy reading Christmas & winter stories whenever we get a heatwave in the summer. I really miss snow thanks to the current wave of heat that we are getting!

Yes!!! It’s fun to watch Christmas movies when it’s 90+ degrees outside and dream of snow :). Super cute mug!!!

LOL! No Christmas cookies, but love Christmas music and movies once in a while.

Heather, you make me laugh! I think you could do Christmas all year round, not just July!

Why not Christmas all year round? My Son and Daughter-in-law (daughter #4) do Halloween all year long! Even their Christmas tree is decorated in black, white, and silver!

Christmas in July happened to me this year by a wonderful friend in a birthday gift! It was my first time celebrating this. But you all know me, with our oppressive heat and humidity here in Florida, I am thinking APPLES AND FALL! Yes, I really am feeling that these last few days. Never mind the real fall weather doesn't arrive here until November. However, the rest of the country celebrates Fall and all its beauty come September.

Anyone else with Fall on their mind?

Winnie, I'm ready for Fall and Apples too!
I remember in the 1960's when I was in elementary school going to "Christmas in July" Sales with My Granny at Woolworths and other dept. Stores. Also in the 1970's.Radio station would play a few Christmas songs which got everyone's attention.
Once in 2010 I was driving to work one morning in July and white Christmas came on the radio and I knew it had to be the DJ that had been on that station for 40 years. He played back some of the calls from younger ones asking what was the meaning of Christmas song now!? We listen to that station at work so it was fun to hear the conversation from older and younger callers.
