Hello girls!

I've missed being on the forum lately, but my hands are full-I just wanted to let you know that my husband has started another chemo regime and has had 4 treatments so far-the first one did not go well with a nine day stint in hospital-He's lost all of his hair and the perpetual mustache he has had since I met him 35 years ago is disappearing. He's tired and eats very little-I try to get him outside to sit in the sun when we have some sunshine but he sits in his new recliner on his phone most days. I have begun reading to him at night-I used to do that when we took loooong trips in the car heading for parts unknown. We moved his bed and a small dresser to the front room-my favorite room in the house...it has three big windows facing south-and made it very comfortable and homey. He is definitely 'winding' down. Still has his quirky sense of humor and is troubled about leaving us-I assure him that we will be fine-not the same- but fine-which seems to comfort him.

I also wanted to thank each and every one of your for your continued prayers and support-you have no idea how much that means to this farmgirl! That's it for now, ladies. Love you Mel

Melody, it is so hard to see a loved one struggle with illnesses. It's hard both on the family and the person dealing with the illness. Just know, you and your husband are in my prayers I know our Lord hears every pray we say. Trust in Him. Hugs.
